This New Flipz Collab Is Everything We Want In A Snack

I know. I KNOW. It’s still too early for pumpkin spice. We’ve not even seen the end of July, and yet, those pumpkin-flavored products are already starting to stack up on supermarket shelves. But…I guess it’s nice to have something to look forward to? Kinda? Not to wish the summer away, of course – but maybe a couple of products here and there isn’t the worst thing in the world?

I’ll let you be the judge of that one – but when pumpkin spice-flavored snacks look as good as Flipz’ latest collab, I can’t say I’m devastated about them arriving early. Let’s check it out. 

Flipz x Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Donut Covered Pretzels

We’ve just received word from @candyhunting (and by “received word,” I mean “we’ve seen that the prolific snack tracker has posted about it”) that Flipz and Dunkin’ have teamed up to create new Pumpkin Spice Donut Covered Pretzels. Flipz has previously made Pumpkin Spice Covered Pretzels before, without the donut-y aspect – but these look like they take it to another level. Instead of just being dusted with pumpkin spice, each pretzel has a glaze-like coating and a drizzle of what’s either caramel- or pumpkin-flavored icing. Honestly, I’m sold. 

So are @candyhunting’s followers. “Hell yeah,” said one commenter, while another said, “These I’m getting immediately.” Someone else, though, said that they’d had a bag two weeks ago. Two weeks! So how long have these things been on sale? Since the start of July?! First we’ve heard of it.

And Where Can I Find Them?!

Flipz x Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Donut Covered Pretzels were spotted at Giant Eagle, but they’re almost certain to be in plenty of other stores too – so Walmart, Target, Kroger, and other chains that stock Flipz products may well have them soon. They are, as expected, limited-edition, so don’t delay if you want to try them (although given that they’ve dropped this early, you do have a while, y’know?). 

As for where we’re at with other pumpkin spice products…they’re coming thick and fast. As is maybe expected, coffee creamers were the first out of the gate: Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte Creamer, International Delight’s Pumpkin Spice Creamer, and Chobani’s Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer are now all readily available (the latter is in stock at Sam’s Club this week), and we’ve also spotted Dunkin’s pumpkin spice blend in stores. This is just the start, though. Come the end of August, we’ll be awash with pumpkin spice, once again. The wheel continues to turn.
