Do you remember when Ghirardelli dropped a Dubai-style chocolate sundae? ‘Cos we do. We were talking about it. Back in October, the fancy chocolatier (which has been working on its Dubai chocolate offerings for a minute now) decided that it was time to bring out an ice cream version of everyone’s favorite flavor du jour. And guess what? It sold out almost instantly.

Well, just a couple of months later, Ghirardelli has decided that it’s time to set the ice cream world ablaze again. Introducing its new Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry Bliss. You might wanna hot-foot it for this one.
Ghirardelli Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry Bliss
Ghirardelli’s new sundae follows its Dubai Style Chocolate Sundae, which was released in Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ice Cream shops around the country, and it extends upon the winning formula that the chocolate company discovered. “The Dubai Style Chocolate Sundae quickly became a standout for us last year, and the excitement from our guests made it clear that the indulgent sweet, salty & crunchy profile had lasting appeal,” said Ghirardelli’s vice president of restaurant & retail, Lacey Zane, in a press release. “Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry Bliss adds a fresh contrast that is light and refreshing while complementing the richness of handmade hot fudge. It’s a perfect flavor pairing for the Summer season.”
So, what’s in this thing? Well, it’s a combination of sliced strawberries, that aforementioned handmade hot fudge, pistachio butter, kataifi, and white chocolate, with sea salt thrown in too. Then, the sundae is topped with whipped cream and barista chips. Now, c’mon. Don’t tell us that doesn’t sound good.
Where Can I Get This New Dessert?
Ghirardelli Dubai Style Chocolate Strawberry Bliss joins the line-up at Ghirardelli Chocolate & Ice Cream Shops around the country, including in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Orlando. It’ll sit nestled next to the Dubai Style Chocolate Sundae – y’know, the one that caused such a stir last year.
Bear in mind, though, that this new dessert is a limited-edition vibe and is only available while supplies last. It’s also not going to be the cheapest dessert option out there – this is Ghirardelli, after all, which squarely aims itself at the luxury end of the chocolate market. If you want an on-the-go summer treat, though, you might wanna hop on down to one of its stores.
