New Pepsi Gingerbread Needs More Gingerbread

Pepsi has officially opened the metaphorical gate to its magical gingerbread bakery to unleash cans of Pepsi Gingerbread Zero Sugar onto the world via their Tiktok Shop and giveaway (more details here if you want to try to secure one yourself). Mr. Pepsi himself sent over a can to me a little bit early, so I gave it a try. Read on to find out if you should seek it out and if it deserves a wider release!

Pros: First and foremost, this can is absolutely beautiful. I’m not much of a collector but I am keeping this can—it has a gingerbread bear and trees and windows and it’s textured and it’s overall just a very high quality, great looking can. High marks, Pepsi! Now, getting into the flavor itself. This kind of gives me Oreo-flavored Coke vibes, which is not at all a bad thing. It has a great cookie-like flavor and a nice creaminess to it. It’s quite pleasant!

Cons: While I do get the gingerbread flavor, and I think it’s really very pleasant, it is buried deep in the aftertaste. I wish Pepsi had dialed up the gingerbread flavor even more. This new Pepsi flavor is good, but it has the potential to be top tier if they added more gingerbread.
