What a banner year it has been for Girl Scouts Cookie flavored items. First, we got that amazing pair of Thin Mints Frostys (Frosties? Frosti!?) from Wendy’s. Then, we got the Thin Mint and Samoa (or Caramel deLite if you’re nasty) flavored Pop-Tarts. And, on the same day I found the combo pack of those Pop-Tarts, I saw a 2-pack of Thin Mints flavored whipped cream. We’re so lucky, y’all. How does this new Thin Mints whipped cream taste? Read on for the full review.

Thin Mints Whipped Cream!

Classic Cream Girl Scouts Thin Mints Whipped Light Cream

Pros: Per the canister, this is “real dairy whipped light cream with mint and dark chocolate flavors inspired by Thin Mints.” I can describe this in far fewer words: so good. I think we need this to be a permanent item so I can make Thin Mint-flavored Mudslides for the rest of my life. You know how Thin Mints have that specific combination of mint and dark chocolate that’s different from York Peppermint Patties? This absolutely nails the specificity of the flavor—something I can’t necessarily say about other recent Thin Mint-flavored releases.

Cons: This is goofy, but it is annoying how this is sold. You have to go to a specific chain and buy it in a bulk format. But this is good enough to be sold in every grocery store forever. In that way, it’s actually the most accurate Girl Scouts-inspired release—it has limited availability and it’s not super easy to get. Even when they’re wrong, they’re right.

Where can I find Thin Mints Whipped Cream for myself?

You can get Girl Scouts Thin Mints Whipped Cream exclusively at Sam’s Club in a 2-pack of standard sized cans. I took each can to a different party and they were a big hit at both. I might need to get my hands on a bottle of Numbskull Mint Chocolate Whiskey and see if I can make the next great specialty shot.

Are there any more Girl Scouts-based innovations on the way?

At this point, I haven’t heard anything—but considering the current rate of releases, I have a feeling we’ll see something pop up before the end of the year. Maybe it’s time for Girl Scouts to get into the ice cream business like everybody else. Honestly, I just want them to bring back those Raspberry Rally cookies.
