Häagen-Dazs aims to celebrate the countries and teams playing in the FIFA World Cup ‘26™ through selecting specific flavors from its lineup to represent them. They’re doing so by highlighting the ingredients and flavors of countries representing in the Cup that inspired the frozen treats.

The Flavors Of The Cup

For Team Argentina―three-time winner of the Cup―Häagen-Dazs declared their dulce de leche ice cream the flavor of the festivities. Dulce de leche is a rich and decadent Argentinian culinary classic. Caramelized milk and sugar come together to form a deep, complex flavor with an incredibly luscious mouthfeel. Traditional Argentinian desserts, such as alfajores, use dulce de leche as a primary component and flavor. Even people who know nothing about soccer will most likely know the name Lionel Messi, so this pint is a safe bet for flavor and soccer enthusiasm alike―especially since this is Messi’s last Cup.

Team Belgium’s designated Häagen-Dazs flavor is the Double Belgian Chocolate Chip ice cream to accompany their line of Belgian Waffle Cones. The ice cream is rich with indulgent Belgian chocolate flavor to honor the country’s long heritage of being chocolatiers. The cones, similarly, were developed with expert bakers to create something that was not only delicious but accurately represented the internationally famous Belgian waffle. The dark horse team’s ice cream lineup offers a wide variety to keep you cool during heated matches.

Team Japan was designated the matcha flavored ice cream since the key flavor in the treat is sourced straight from Kyoto. This refreshing change in flavor profile mirrors the stand-out team.

Strength and consistency. These two things not only describe what you want from your morning cup of coffee but Team Brazil as well. Brazil has qualified for the Cup more than any other team globally. Häagen-Dazs recognizes this, and Brazil’s long-standing place in the coffee industry, with their flavor assignment. The beans used to make this ice cream come straight from a Brazilian producer making a bold flavor that will surely keep you satisfied.

Finally, the United States was given Rum Raisin and Pistachio to represent their country’s team. One of the host nations to World Cup ‘26, Team USA was given two flavors sourced directly from the vibrant farms of California. The two classic flavors from Häagen-Dazs honor the land that not only built the United States into what it is today but hosts much of the world’s most elite soccer players.
