For some people, Halloween isn’t just a day, it’s a lifestyle. And for those people, there’s Halloween cereal—that seasonal offering that allows those who subscribe to a spooky lifestyle to start their way with a spoonful of scary. Of course, there’s the classic General Mills Monster Cereals, but that’s not all—and, actually, even those Monster Cereals are different this year.

Here’s all the Halloween cereals you can buy in 2025.

General Mills Monster Cereals: Count Chocolua, Boo Berry, and Franken Berry

General Mills Monster Cereals are BACK! And this year, they’re fuzzy! Count Chocula, Boo Berry, and Franken Berry received a Muppet makeover from The Jim Henson Company. (Sorry, Carmella Creeper, no release for you this year.) While all three Muppetized flavors are available at stores nationwide, a special, limited-edition actually fuzzy Franken Berry will drop exclusively on Walmart.com starting October 7. Each box will cost the extremely specific price of $7.70. Finally, a cereal box you can cuddle with! If that’s not enough, you can also go to shop.henson.com for Monster Cereal Muppet merch.

Cap’n Crunch Halloween Crunch

It’s Cap’n Crunch with little ghosts and ghouls along with the classic mouth-scraping barrels. Plus, it turns your milk green! And the Cap’n is a vampire! It really checks all the Halloween cereal boxes.

Post Halloween Fruity Pebbles

Back by popular demand, it’s Halloween Fruity Pebbles—with purple and orange flakes. What else is spooky about this Flinstone’s inspired Halloween cereal? Well, Pebbles is dressed like a kitty cat and Bam Bam is dressed as Frankenstein’s monster. And Dino looks scared. And there’s a spooky tree. But the flavor’s the same—mostly it’s the color of the flakes.

Post Halloween Oreo Puffs Breakfast Cereal

No, Oreo O’s isn’t coming back any time soon (that we know of) but Oreo is still adding another box to the cereal aisle with these Halloween Oreo Puffs. The Oreo Puffs (as the box proudly proclaims) are made with “real Oreo cookie wafers” and the marshmallows turn the milk orange. That’s pretty darn Halloweeny!

Kellogg’s Froot Loops Spooky Color Change

Speaking of color-changing milk, these new Halloween Froot Loops not only turn milk purple, they turn it “wildberry purple.” Also Toucan Sam is somewhat dressed like a mummy on the box. It’s not the most in-your-face Halloween cereal, but it’ll scratch an itch.

Justine Sterling

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
