It’s autumn. It’s the fall. It’s pumpkin spice season. Whatever you like to call this time of year, it’s hard to aoid the siren song of a pumpkin spiced latte. But, dear Sporked readers, coffee shop isn’t the only place to satiate that need! There’s no need to pay $7 for a small, decent-tasting pumpkin spiced latte, no need to leave the comfort of your couch on a cold autumn day. You can do it at home! And it can taste just as good, if not better, than at the shop!
- Peet’s Coffee Pumpkin Spice K-Cup Pods
-
First thing’s first: Instead of just adding pumpkin pie spice to our cup of regular coffee, we’re brewing up some actual pumpkin spice flavored coffee so we can make sure our latte has big bold fall flavors but also perfect balance. Starbucks stans might be dubious, but they should give these Peet’s K-Cup pods a shot. “From its well-rounded aroma to its balanced blend of pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove), this coffee is incredibly pleasant,” according to Sporked managing editor Gwynedd Stuart. Oh and if you don’t have a Keurig, no prob—Peet’s sells this coffee as a bag of grounds, too.

- Coffee–mate Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
-
The next step is creamer, and we’re layering those warm fall flavors with a pumpkin spice coffee creamer. Sporked senior writer Jordan Myrick, who hates both coffee and the pumpkin spice flavor profile, thought this creamer “tasted delicious.” They wrote: “Hands down, this had the most pumpkin spice-y pumpkin spice flavor out of any of the coffee creamers we tried. The flavor is complex while still being subtle. It’s sweet, but not too sweet.” If it can win over the haters, I’m sure PSL lovers will be into it.

- Clover Sonoma Sweetened Whipped Topping
-
One of the best things about getting a fancy coffee drink at the coffee shop is that you can ask for a big ol’ swirl of whipped cream on top. But, hey, you can do that at home, too. Treat yourself to this Clover Sonoma whipped topping, which Jordan described as “smooth, creamy, and fluffy.” Your PSL just went from great to greater!
