To say that it’s been a deal-heavy summer so far is an understatement. These chains are COMPETING, folks. It feels like we receive word of a new discount or freebie offer every single day at the moment, as food businesses and restaurants continue trying to entice cost-conscious customers. This week, Dunkin’s dropped its US Open-themed deals, 7-Eleven’s revealed its summer solstice offers, and Cuervo’s giving away free margaritas. If you like saving money, it’s been a good’un.

But we’re not done yet! Courtesy of Jamba, we have another round of deals, including its returning $1 smoothies. Let’s break it down.
$1 Smoothies!
First, let’s talk about the biggie here: Jamba’s $1 Smoothie deal is back! For one day only. According to a press release, Jamba will once again be selling its $1 smoothies on June 21, a move that has become an annual tradition for the brand. Well, June 21 is National Smoothie Day, after all; it’s not like it’s just plucked that one out of thin air.
Anyway! This Sunday, you can grab a small Mango-A-Go-Go or Strawberry Whirl Smoothie at its stores for a single buck. You’ll have to go between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to avail of this one, though. As a bonus, the first 100 people who arrive at each store will get a Golden Ticket scratch-off, and you might win free smoothies for a year. Jamba’s giving away 50 of these prizes.
More Stuff!
Sandwiching this deal, in what Jamba’s calling its Kickoff to Summer Weekend lineup, are two more smoothie discounts. On Saturday, June 20, you can grab a $2 Small Strawberry Lemon Twist Over Ice, or a Watermelon Over Ice, which returns for one day only to participating locations. Then, on Monday, June 22 (who says the weekend has to stop on Sunday, huh?), you can get $2 off any sized smoothie, provided that you’re a Jamba Rewards member.
Jamba’s got some nice deals here – but it’ll face some stiff competition from the king. Smoothie King, that is. Not to tempt you away from Jamba here, but the rival chain is offering its customers free smoothies on National Smoothie Day…slightly upping the ante there. But look, here’s the plan: You get a $1 smoothie from Jamba, a free one from Smoothie King, and you can enjoy glorious hydration while feeling as though you’ve spent $0.50 on each. Sound good? Sounds good.
