JusRol’s New Pastry Kits Make Sweet Snacks Simple

The pastry brand is one of the fastest-growing competitors in the refrigerated dough space, and it’s got a ready-to-go pastry pack for pretty much any occasion. JusRol Puff Pastry Turnover Kits

JusRol is hitting the chilled dough section with its new Puff Pastry Turnover Kits, all-in-one boxes that contain pastry, filling, and icing. In each package, you get four puff pastry dough squares and either an apple or blueberry filling, which comes in a separate sachet. Squeeze in, oven on, set your timer, and then enjoy the fruits (quite literally) of your minimal labor. There’s also a nice versatility to these: Yes, you can make them into turnovers as intended, but you can also make fruit tarts – or, if you’re in a more tubular mood, a take on a McDonald’s apple pie (the baked one, not the fried one). 

JusRol’s Puff Pastry Turnover Kits are, according to the brand, a potential indicator as to where it’s going to be focusing its attention next. “This launch represents an important step in expanding beyond our traditional dough format and bringing greater convenience and confidence into the kitchen,” said Hilary Weinstein, Senior Brand Manager at JusRol, in a press statement. It’s unlikely that it’ll nix its core products any time soon, but there’s definitely been an uptick in baking kits that include everything you need in one box, perhaps reflecting a growing inclination from customers for more rewards with less effort. These turnover kits also reflect a desire for simpler ingredients: JusRol’s Puff Pastry Turnover Kits have no artificial flavors or colors, high-fructose corn syrup, or bleached flour.

Now, Walmart, and around $5. JusRol’s Puff Pastry Turnover Kits are available now at the retailer, with a suggested retail price of $4.67 (although, as ever with any product out there, the actual price may vary depending on location).
