Of all the European chocolate brands – of which there are many – few hold the place that Kinder does in people’s hearts. The clue to its success is in its name: With the German word for “children” printed on every bar and egg, it evokes feelings of nostalgia, of times gone by, of hands covered in sticky, sweet chocolate. Then there’s its flavor. Kinder’s never been afraid to sit on the light, milky, sugary end of the chocolate spectrum, and that’s very much worked to its benefit, especially when it comes to variations on the form.

Where am I going with all this? Well, the US is getting a new frozen version of a Kinder classic – and believe me when I tell you that this one’s worth buying.

Kinder Bueno White Frozen Range

Food content creator @markie_devo recently dropped the news that Kinder’s planning a US release of its Bueno White Frozen range, and it’s got us all a-flutter. These frozen treats, which come in cone and tub form, take the classic flavors of Kinder Bueno White – think hazelnut-y, creamy, white chocolate-y – and cool them down. Here, hazelnut-flavored frozen dessert is paired with a disk of Kinder Bueno White and a crispy meringue crumble. Flavor, texture, and nostalgia, all in one.

The release of Kinder’s Bueno White Frozen range caps off a year that started with the brand releasing its flagship Kinder Bueno ice cream in the US. According to @markie_devo, these new white versions will be available either at the end of 2026 or at the start of 2027, and they’ll be available at major stores.

Reasons To Be Cheerful

So, why can I say with such confidence that these will be worth your money? Because we have them in the UK, and they’re deeeelicious. We’ve had Kinder Bueno White cones for a minute now, and Kinder has nailed its balance of sweetness to creaminess, and the successful capturing of Bueno White’s flavors in frozen dessert form, remarkably well. White chocolate ice cream can often be cloying and almost offensively sweet, and these manage not to fall into that territory; the hazelnut balances everything out (although make no mistake that these are sweet, just not overwhelmingly so).

So, they come rubber-stamped by yours truly. The only quibble from me is the winter release of it all — but hey, come summer, these will be firmly embedded in hearts and minds everywhere. Just as Kinder intended, no doubt.
