Walmart’s Crumbl Dupe’s New Flavor Is Late To The Viral Trend Party

It’s honestly stunning how long some viral food trends can carry on. To clarify, I don’t mean that these trends remain organically viral for extensive periods of time – generally speaking, and by their very definition, they have a burst of activity online, and then they’re replaced by the next thing – but I mean that brands push them far, far beyond their natural limits. Case in point: Dubai chocolate. We started talking about it around the start of 2025…and here we are, nearly closing out 2026, and we’re still getting new product releases with its flavor profile.

It should be done. It IS done. We’ve seen virtually every variation of Dubai chocolate that could possibly exist. And yet, Walmart keeps on going. Last month, it dropped its Bettergoods Dubai Style Chocolate Spread; now, it’s released its Dubai chocolate-flavored Crumbl dupe.

King Krumb Dubai Chocolate Cookies

A few days ago, @markie_devo on Instagram dropped the news that Walmart’s King Krumb brand (aka its Crumbl cookie dupe) has just dropped a new Dubai Chocolate flavor. The cookie has a pistachio base and a chocolate drizzle on top, and it looks as though it’s studded with chocolate chips, too. It’s not immediately apparent where the kataifi, which is so central to authentic Dubai chocolate, comes in – is it baked in? Has it been skipped? If so, that’d be a shame; that crunch is what transforms it from just a mere pistachio-chocolate combo. Alas, we have no reviews to tell us what’s what just yet.

King Krumb’s Dubai Chocolate flavor comes in a two-pack with a Toffee Almond Crunch option – and it’s also got a new Cappuccino and Snickerdoodle combo on shelves now. The former is a cappuccino-flavored cookie with coffee notes and a creamy frosting swirled on top; the latter is a Snickerdoodle-flavored cookie, again with creamy frosting and a dusting of cinnamon. Both would be excellent on your morning break.

Dubai Chocolate’s Reign…Is It Finally Over?

These new King Krumb cookies might knock it out of the park, but honestly, the release of this Dubai chocolate flavor just feels way too late – and we don’t think it’s going to change any minds. By this point, pretty much everyone’s decided whether they like it or not, and we have so many Dubai chocolate options out there that we probably don’t need another one. But hey, I’m willing to be proved wrong! Maybe this is the essential addition we needed. We’ll wait and see.
