If you happen to follow Kylie Jenner’s canned vodka seltzer brand Sprinter on the ol’ ‘Gram, you may have noticed that things are looking different over there. The Sprinter brand has fully flipped the script, and it’s saying goodbye to boozy bevs and hello to hydration. Just yesterday, Sprinter launched k2o by Sprinter, a line of powdered drink sticks “designed for on-the-go and after-the-party hydration.”

Oh okay, I like to be hydrated, tell me more…
Gladly. While most hydration packets emphasize how you’ll feel after consuming them, Kylie’s k2o by Sprinter drinks sticks are intended to make you look better. The so-called Advanced Skin Hydration packets contain electrolytes, hyaluronic acid, and something called Verisol Bioactive Collagen Peptides, which purport to improve skin elasticity, reduce eye wrinkles, and increase overall skin hydration.
The packets come in three flavors—Peach, Watermelon Lime, and Strawberry Lychee—and they can be purchased in 20-, 40-, or 60-count packs (individual or variety). They’re pricey, but not necessarily that much pricier than Liquid IV. If you buy those in bulk, they cost around $1.50 a stick; these cost around $2 a stick (and that cost goes down to $1.40 each if you sign up for a subscription).
Wait, isn’t Kylie Jenner a billionaire? I don’t support those!
No, apparently, she’s not. Despite being named the youngest “self-made” (lol) billionaire by Forbes in 2019, the outlet later reneged, saying they’d discovered that Jenner’s makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics, was actually smaller and less valuable than they’d previously reported. She’s merely a multi-hundred-millionaire. Hey, maybe the hydration packets will get her over the billionaire finish line in time for California’s billionaire tax act to be approved by voters in November!
This is a Coachella thing, isn’t it?
Yep, you guessed it! Electing to not attend Coachella doesn’t mean you can escape the fact that every single brand is doing some sort of activation in or around Indio, California, this month. These k2o by Sprinter hydration sticks are making their debut at the 818 Outpost at Coachella on Friday. If you don’t keep up with the Kardashians (nyuck), 818 is sister Kendall Jenner’s tequila brand.
