It feels like there’s a new M&M’s flavor every time I walk into a store—or at least, a new-ish M&M’s flavor. There have been so many flavors of M&M’s that they can bring a flavor back after a few years and receive an entirely positive reaction. If I had to guess, most of the people who clicked on this review probably thought Marshmallow Crispy is a brand new M&M flavor; the rest of you remember it first launched back in 2023. It’s a winning strategy: M&M’s looks like they’re constantly pushing out new, innovative flavors while also reviving certain fan-favorite flavors for another round of hoarding!
So, today we’ve got our hands on a not-new-but-returning bag of M&M’s. Let’s find out whether this was worth bringing back or if it should have stayed in the archives.
Pros: I’m not always a fan of white chocolate M&M’s, but these are fantastic. My favorite movie theater candy is Buncha Crunch, so the crisp rice at the center of these M&M’s is perfect for me. The marshmallow flavoring is a little strong, but that actually helps you slow down and savor these instead of eating them by the handful.
Cons: These are so fantastic that I actually had to buy two bags. I made the mistake of leaving these on a counter before I had a chance to write up my tasting notes. By the time I actually needed to taste them, the whole first bag was gone! Buyer beware; these M&M’s are too good to last. I’ll be billing my household for the trouble.
Verdict: This M&M’s flavor should stick around.

Where can I get Marshmallow Crispy M&M’s for myself?
These summery M&M’s are only available at Target. This isn’t the only retailer-exclusive M&M’s flavor available right now either; if you’re looking to pick up a fresh bag of Orange Vanilla Cream M&M’s (which first debuted in 2018), you’ll have to head over to Dollar General. It shouldn’t be hard; Dollar Generals are everywhere.
Which of these treat-flavored M&M’s do you want to try most?
