McDonald’s Is Bringing Back This Fan-Favorite Pie For Another Go

It’s a great day when we get news of a fast food item returning for another run around the sun. In my opinion, the worst thing imaginable is falling in love with a limited-release item and it never showing back up into my life again. Thankfully, lovers of McDonald’s Pumpkin & Creme Pie can rest easy that they were spared from that fate this year.

Back For A Limited Time

McDonald’s Pumpkin & Creme Pie is just that. It features a new twist on the McDonald’s classic by splitting the two flavors down the middle. On one side you’ll find spiced pumpkin pie filling and the other side holds a crème filling. There’s no mixing at this party! The two fillings are delivered to your mouth in a baked sugar-coated premium pie pastry crust. I guess we won’t be getting the fried version of this pie.

McDonald’s Pumpkin & Creme Pie is already returning to select locations at this very moment! So far, it’s been spotted at a few McDonald’s in Brooklyn and Dallas. It seems more and more locations are getting it by the day before its eventual return nationwide. While there’s no official announcement from McDonald’s yet, the pies already have a listing on the McDonald’s website so I’m sure they’re getting a full release soon.

Oh the Secret Menu Items We Wish We Could Make.

I would give anything on this planet to get McDonald’s to blend this into a McFlurry. If only those machines still worked. I can hardly get them to blend up an Oreo McFlurry so I won’t hold my breath on the pumpkin and creme pie version. Nevertheless, at least this makes for a nice addition to the menu to welcome us into fall.

The comments on @markie_devo’s announcement post for the pumpkin and creme pies are full of fans just waiting to get their hands on the returning pies. And some that already have gotten their hands on a few pies. One person said “I’ve had a pie every other day since I messaged you that my location had it.” My favorite comment was one that said “Sorry this time I’m on Ozempic god bless tho.” Well, it’s the thought that counts.

We’re among the many that are counting down the seconds until these pumpkin and creme pies make their way to our local McDonald’s. Maybe I’m a little too optimistic on the timeline because I’m now actively refreshing my McDonald’s app to see if they’ve been listed yet. So far, no luck.
