McDonald’s Just Announced A Brand New BTS Happy Meal

I can’t believe McDonald’s is really about to make me get a whole bunch of Happy Meals again. They sure know how to pick their partners. Who would say no to something relating to BTS in this day and age? That’s right, BTS is dancing back into McDonald’s for their whopping fourth partnership with the fast food giant. Is anyone doing it like them? I don’t think so. Rarely have I seen a repeat partner at McDonald’s, let alone a four time partner.

But BTS is special and holds a special places in many people’s hearts (mine included). McDonald’s is just acknowledging what the fans already know. 

BT21 Is Here (Again)

This round is another Happy Meal toy release, marking the third Happy Meal collab. Their other collab was the BTS meal―and bring back that Cajun sauce, please? But unlike the previous TinyTan toys, which were a two stage release of figures of all seven members in two different themed outfits, this new collab will focus on something only the real fans will know and love. BT21. We know what you’re thinking: there was already a BT21 release that was well-loved by fans. Well, here comes round two.

BT21 is the line of characters created by the members of BTS. There are 8 characters in total, one designed by each member and an 8th to represent the fans. There isn’t a ton of info about the toy line just yet aside from the teaser and confirmation that the collab is happening. But we do know that it drops on July 14th worldwide. Of course, this is only while supplies last―and knowing BTS fans, they won’t last long.

Our Predictions For The Happy Meal

We can assume that there will be at least 8 toys to collect. Some rumors say that the line contains ten toys in total. So, what would those other two toys be if there’s only 8 characters? Group toys? Significant things from the BT21 universe? Maybe Mang’s mask will get its own release. We also expect that these toys will come with clips to turn them into keychains so you can take your new little figure on the go with you. 

But this isn’t just a BT21 collab. They’ve centered all the members with a space theme. No longer is sweet Tata the only space adventurer―now the whole crew is among the stars! We’re excited to see how space and the characters come together and what fun they get up to in space with Tata leading the way. We’ll have to wait and see what July 14th brings us to know for sure.
