Here at Sporked, we’re always excited to try new cereals. The more sweet, crunchy stuff we have to fill our cereal bowls, the better. But it’s not every day that Rhett & Link (aka our bosses) are the boys behind our breakfast. That’s right, Rhett & Link have launched a cereal called MishMash and it comes in two flavors: MishMash Sweet Mac N’ Mello and MishMash Peanut Butter N’ Honey Sandwich. Both flavors of MishMash are available right now at Eatmishmash.com, but we got our hands on a couple of boxes and poured ourselves a bowl of each so we could give you the full scoop. Here’s what you can expect from your new breakfast obsession:
- MishMash Sweet Mac N’ Mello
Have you ever wished you could eat mac and cheese for breakfast? Well, first of all you can (you’re an adult! do whatever you want!). But if you’ve ever specifically wished you could eat a breakfast cereal that simply looks like mac and cheese but is all sweet and corny and crispy and crunchy, MishMash Sweet Mac N’ Mello is your jam. The cereal consists of macaroni-shaped corn cereal morsels along with fun mini marshmallows. No, this cereal doesn’t taste like cheese sauce. The macaroni bits are sweet, and the mini marshmallows actually taste like marshmallow, which isn’t always the case for cereal marshmallows. You can eat this cereal dry, but it really shines in milk because it retains an impressive amount of sweetness. It really feels like a throwback to childhood, and we love that.
- MishMash Peanut Butter N’ Honey Sandwich
There are a handful of peanut butter cereals at the grocery store, but none of them really channel the glory of a peanut butter and honey sandwich. MishMash Peanut Butter N’ Honey Sandwich does that. This cereal consists of little bread-shaped wheat-and-corn morsels that are light, crispy, and taste like peanut butter with a burst of honey sweetness on the finish. The best part is that you even get a touch of salt as you eat, which really brings the complexity of peanut butter to life. And did we mention both of these cereals come with activities? Both boxes transform into games you can play while you eat, because you’re never too old to play with your food. Look at Rhett & Link!
Was disappointed in the flavor and texture. Didn’t mind so much that it wasn’t very sweet, but it did taste like it was stale.
Not really what I expected.
The mishmash cereal is not good. Both of the flavors are bland and the textures are too hard. Please take the time to review the community feedback on Reddit before buying. This glowing review makes me question the authenticity and trustworthiness of sporked.com
I just got my first order. I think something got missed in the production of my sweet Mac and mallow the Mac was not sweet at all it tasted like the box smells. I really like the pb and honey.
You GOT to taste their cereal? The cereal of the people who OWN Sporked? This is an advertisement, not a review.
