Banquet Just Launched a New Line of Frozen Breakfast Bowls

Apparently, Banquet won’t rest until every meal in your day is delivered to you in chilly, shrink-wrapped form. The frozen-food brand, powered by the convenience-grub monolith Conagra, has been churning out ready-made entrées for generations. It’s recently started going big on its MEGA Bowls (some of which our taste-testers loved), which are…kinda like its other meals, but just in bowl form. Look, it’s not reinventing the wheel here, guys, but they definitely hit the spot. Hot fried chicken, ready in just a few minutes? We’re not gonna say no to that.

Well, Banquet’s now extended the format to breakfast time. It’s just debuted its new MEGA Breakfast Bowls, which, in true 2026 fashion, are loaded with protein. Here’s what’s up for grabs in the frozen aisle. 

Feast Your Eyes on Banquet’s New Flavors

Banquet’s MEGA Breakfast Bowl line currently comes in four options, each boasting a pretty impressive 30 grams of protein. The flavors are:

Meat Lovers

A loaded jumble of ham, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and roasted potatoes, mixed with a double-punch of dairy, thanks to the inclusion of cheddar cheese sauce and cheddar cheese. This is one for the indecisive out there, thanks to the fact that it has pretty much every breakfast food going in it. 

Sausage & Gravy

Cooked sausage, country gravy, and roasted potatoes come together on a bed of scrambled eggs, topped with shredded cheese. We wish that this one had biscuits too, but we guess that Banquet decided that it couldn’t win ‘em all. 

Sausage

A mixture of cooked sausage, roasted potatoes, and scrambled eggs, topped once more with cheddar cheese sauce and shredded cheese. 

Bacon

A mixture of—you guessed it!—cooked bacon, roasted potatoes, and scrambled eggs, finished off with Banquet’s double dose of cheese sauce and shredded cheese. The latter two options are clearly for people who say they like to keep things simple, but still want everything and the kitchen sink. 

For Conagra, the Future’s Filled with Protein

Banquet’s new MEGA Breakfast Bowls are, according to Conagra, designed to fill consumers’ never-ending desire for protein-rich options. “Consumers are looking for protein-packed meals to start their day, and these four new flavors are an ideal solution that’s both convenient and delicious,” said Conagra Brands VP/GM Tim Nangle in a statement. 

Delivering said protein in a breakfast-bound, bowl-shaped vessel, meanwhile, is apparently a response to the growing momentum amongst Gen Z and millennial customers for convenient options first thing in the morning. All these things have come together in products that are clearly designed to give Jimmy Dean’s breakfast items a run for their money. Banquet MEGA Breakfast Bowls are on sale right now, and are retailing at around $4 or just under at stores like Walmart. Already tried one?
