We’re all about Bloom here at Sporked. No, seriously. We are. Yes, we may not love every one of its flavors (sorry, Strawberry Rose, we just didn’t get on board with you), but more often than not, it hits its mark. Glacier Crush? We liked it. Root beer float? We loved it. Crisp Apple? Oh, you better believe that we were all over it, especially when it came back for good.

So, imagine our delight when we found out that Bloom is releasing a Rocket Pop flavor. And imagine our delight when we discovered that it’s arriving in a couple of weeks. We are so back.
What’s the deal with Rocket Blast Bloom Pop?
Rocket Blast is one of the newest flavors in Bloom’s Pop line, its prebiotic sodas that aim to combine gut health with fun, funky flavors. It was actually announced way back in mid-February by Keurig Dr Pepper as part of its new suite of flavors for the coming months across its brands, but the time has come to finally zero in on it, especially now that we have a rough release date.
Rocket Blast is pure nostalgia: Each can is emblazoned with a Rocket Pop in its classic red, white, and blue tones, and its flavor aims to recreate the flavor of the retro ice pop as accurately as possible. What we hope that will mean is that it’ll be a combo of cherry, lemon-lime, and blue raspberry, and obviously that it’ll be totally delicious and utterly refreshing and just really really reeeeeeally good. Is that too much to ask for?
Rocket Blast Bloom Pop will contain three grams of sugar, and (we assume) will have the plant-based prebiotic fibers that other drinks in its range have, which gives them their gut-friendly effect.
When is Bloom Rocket Blast coming out?
It’s looking like Bloom has May 1 lined up as a release date, but it could take a little bit of time before it rolls out fully across the country. You’ll want to grab it while you can, though; It’s a limited-edition flavor that has summer written all over it, and once the weather starts to turn, it’ll be gone.
Rocket Pops are back in style
We discussed Rocket Pop being the flavor of the summer back in 2023, but to be totally honest, it looks as though it’s come back around again. As well as Bloom’s Rocket Blast flavor, we’ve also seen Popsicle release a Rocket Pop-flavored RTD alcoholic beverage, which accompanies its Hard Orange, Hard Grape, and Hard Cherry options. We’re only halfway through April, too, so we wouldn’t be surprised if there are a couple more new products to come – and you’ve obviously got your regular Rocket Pops if all else fails. Stock up now; you never know when the first truly hot day of summer is gonna hit.
