Even though it’s not quite Halloween season yet (don’t tell that to the miniature Reese’s Pumpkins hitting shelves now) there’s plenty of new candy dropping. Here’s all the new candy (non-Halloween) that we’ve got our eye on. Let us know what you’ll be snacking on in the comments!

New Freeze Dried Candy from Ferrara

Previously previewed at the Sweets & Snacks Expo and reviewed by my good friend and fellow Sporked contributor, Griffin Parker, the Freeze Dried LemonHeads, Sprees, and SweetTarts are all available and rolling into stores as we speak!

KFC x Frankford Gummy Combo Meal

Here’s a collab that was not on the top of my bingo card: Frankford (maker of confections like gummy Krabby Patties and Dunkin’ jelly beans) is releasing a gummy fried chicken combo meal with KFC branding. Sometimes Frankford makes candy that is actually flavored like the weird, unconventional things on the packaging (looking at you, pickle flavored jelly beans) but this is not the case here. These KFC gummies are fruity and are rolling into Five Below stores now.

If by some chance you are disappointed (like me) that the KFC gummies are not flavored like KFC chicken, you’ll want to keep an eye out next year when Frankford will release KFC-inspired jelly beans. You have my attention and my curiosity!

Butterfinger Marshmallow

Out goes the Salted Caramel Butterfinger (which we gave high marks) and in comes the next new Butterfinger flavor: Marshmallow. The coating is said to be marshmallow flavor with the classic “crispety crunchety, peanut-buttery” center we all know and love from Butterfinger. These are hitting stores now. In fact, I already have one in my possession, so stay tuned for a review!

Crunch White Bar

For the first time in 20 years, Crunch White Bars are finally gracing store shelves once again. As you would expect, the Crunch White Bars replace the classic milk chocolate in a traditional Crunch Bar with white chocolate. As a kid, this was one of my favorite candy bars, so I am over the moon excited to have the opportunity to try it again. These are also being spotted in stores now, so keep an eye out (and keep an eye out for our review, as well).

Twix Snickerdoodle

It is finally time for Snickerdoodle Twix to make their grand appearance. I had the opportunity to try the Snickerdoodle-flavored Twix at the Expo and the best way I can describe it is like Twix Cookie Dough but with snickerdoodle cookie dough. While Sporked’s Justine Sterling and I certainly do not give it the same marks, Twix Snickerdoodle are hitting store shelves now if you want to try yourself and weigh in.

Mentos Discovery Roll

It’s always fun to see brands that largely stick to their tried and true line-up come out of absolutely nowhere with new and fun products. Case in point: the new Mentos Discovery Roll. It’s 14 different flavors in one roll of Mentos. Flavors include orange, lemon, strawberry, lime, grapefruit, raspberry, watermelon, grape, cherry, banana, passion fruit, pineapple, blueberry, and black currant. Popping up in stores now!

Sour Patch Kids Strips

Sour Patch Kids is coming for Airheads Xtremes, Sour Strips, and every other sour belt candy producer with the newly announced Sour Patch Kids Strips. According to food blogger Markie Devo, there will be five flavors of strips: Lemon, Lime, Orange, Red Berry, and Blue Raspberry. The strips will drop in Target this month and roll out to additional retailers nationwide next year.

Let us know in the comments if we missed a release coming soon and which candy is on YOUR hunt list!
