When you’re an energy drink brand that already has 30 existing flavors and you want to keep cranking ‘em out, you have to get creative. Celsius covered the basics ages ago with classics like Grape, Orange, and Watermelon, and even combos like Green Apple Cherry and Wild Berry, my personal favorite Celsius flavor. They’ve since expanded into energy drinks that aren’t flavors, per se … they’re “Vibes.” The lineup currently includes ten flavor concepts, all of which sound at least a little bit like sex toys or lubes, from Astro Vibe to Fantasy Vibe. And a new Celsius flavor just joined the Vibe party: Say hello to Celsius Electric Vibe. (Yup, sounds like another sex toy!)

What’s the deal with Celsius Electric Vibe?

Like the Vibes that came before it, this new Celsius flavor combines several flavor profiles to create a fruity, inscrutable, caffeinated stew. Celsius Electric Vibe combines not one, not two, but four fruit flavors. It’s described as a “Sparkling Tropical Freeze flavor with notes of pineapple, orange, cherry and grape.” It’s like a whole box of popsicles in one dang drink.

What are the other Celsius Vibe flavors?

There’s a lot of them! Besides the aforementioned Astro Vibe (Sparkling Blue Razz) and Fantasy Vibe (Sparkling Mandarin Marshmallow), there’s Playa Vibe (Sparkling Pina Colada), Retro Vibe (Sherbet Slush, aka raspberry-orange-lime), Galaxy Vibe (Sparkling Strawberry Watermelon), Cosmic Vibe (Sparkling Fruit Punch), Oasis Vibe (Sparkling Prickly Pear Lime), Arctic Vibe (Sparkling Frozen Berry), Tropical Vibe (Sparkling Starfruit Pineapple), and Peach Vibe (self-explanatory, for a change).

When and where can I get a can of this new Vibe?

Well, Celsius Electric Vibe made its debut at the Celsius Soccer Classic in L.A. on April 22, but if you missed that, don’t worry. Well, do worry a little—this flavor is rolling out for retail next week (no fixed date) and it’s a limited edition flavor, so it won’t be around forever. If your favorite flavor is pineapple-orange-cherry-grape, grab it while you can!

Gwynedd Stuart

Howdy! I’m Gwynedd, Sporked’s managing editor. I live in Los Angeles and have access to the best tacos the U.S. has to offer—but I’m a sucker for a crunchy Old El Paso taco night every now and then. I’ve been at Sporked since 2022 and I’m still searching frozen mozzarella sticks that can hold a candle to restaurant sticks. Why you should trust me: I’ve been a journalist for 20 years (yikes), a consumer of food for 40-plus years, and I’m truly hard pressed to think of foods I don’t like (or that I can’t tolerate at the very least). Oh and one time I cooked my way through Guy Fieri’s cookbook and wrote about the journey through Flavortown. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s Original Savory Thins. Fat free plain yogurt (usually Fage or Nancy’s). Honeycrisp apples. Sweet cream coffee creamer for my at-home Americanos. A frozen cauliflower crust pizza and some jarred mushrooms to top it with. Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff taco shells and Gardein Ground Be’f, even though I think “be’f” is a nightmarish contraction. Favorite ranking: Stouffer’s frozen dinners. I don’t own a microwave (I get my cancers the old fashioned way!), so I love taste testing things that I don’t really buy to eat at home. Least favorite ranking: Soy sauce. Don’t get me wrong, I love soy sauce—but consuming that much sodium in one sitting is probably illegal in some countries. Our frozen enchilada taste test was a close second; the smell of microwaved corn tortillas still haunts me.
