Later this year, Coca-Cola is releasing a new seasonal flavor called “Holiday Vanilla Cream.” We started covering that back in June ahead of the November launch. But I recently learned that it won’t be the only new Coke flavor coming in the near future. One of my trusty little birds recently let me in on another new flavor coming next year: Coca-Cola Cherry Float. Let’s go over all the juicy details we do (and don’t yet) have on this upcoming new Coca-Cola flavor.
What is Coca-Cola Cherry Float?
Unfortunately, I don’t have much concrete information beyond the name and a very blurry product render I’m not at liberty to share. That said, from the name, we can assume this will be akin to a canned Coca-Cola Cherry ice cream float-flavored cola. Sounds a little complicated, but I’m definitely into it. Cherry Coke is my all-time favorite (standard) variant of Coca-Cola, so I’m all about any extension of that concept.
Will Coca-Cola Cherry Float be a permanent release?
I was totally expecting to write a big “of course not!” in response to this question, but per the innovation calendar I was sent, Coca-Cola Cherry Float is not marked as a limited-time offering. That means we’ll see the flavor for half a year at minimum even if it sells poorly. Will this new flavor see the same success as Coca-Cola Orange Cream? Or will Coca-Cola Cherry Float join Coca-Cola Spiced in a shallow flavor grave? Stay tuned, true believers.
Is Coca-Cola Cherry Float launching in Zero Sugar?
Rest easy, ye of sugar averse taste; Coca-Cola Cherry Float will be available in zero sugar in both 20oz bottles and 12oz cans. Since the dawn of Coca-Cola Creations, Coke has been pretty good about releasing their new flavors in zero sugar. (Coca-Cola even releases some drinks exclusively in zero sugar, to the chagrin of sugar fiends like me.)
When can I try Coca-Cola Cherry Float?
Per my source, Coca-Cola is considering 2026 the “Year of Cherry.” We’ll see Coca-Cola Cherry Float hit shelves in February 2026. A few other cherry beverage innovations and returns will launch around that time as well; I’ll be covering those developments here soon on Sporked.
