Cold Stone Creamery is not above trying out fun new things, folks. The ice cream chain may have a name that evokes the good ol’ days of yore, and hand-churned ice cream made by cranking a handle in a big wooden barrel, but it’s a lot more modern than its branding lets on.

Cold Stone Creamery’s Creations line is proof of this: Mash-ups of ice cream, mix-ins, and unexpected toppings, they’re perfect for when you want a little bit of everything in one cup. And this spring, it’s bringing us two new Creations that we are very ready to try. Instagram-based candy specialists @candyhunting revealed all, and honestly, we’re gettin’ hungry.
Feast Your Eyes on These New Creations
Drumroll, please! Cold Stone Creamery’s new flavors are:
Lemon Berry Batter
A base of Lemon Cake Batter ice cream is studded with Lemon Oreo cookies, lemon pie filling, and little chunks of strawberry. We absolutely loved Lemon Oreos (in both their forms) when we tried them in our lemon cookie taste test, so we’re excited about this one. It’s gonna be tart, but hey, spring’s all about freshness.
The Berry Best S’More
This flavor starts with Strawberry Marshmallow ice cream, and it’s then mixed with more marshmallow (in the form of cream), fudge, and a s’mores-appropriate graham cracker crust. This one’s gonna be crunchy, sduiqgy, and berry-y. We’re into it.
New Season, New Flavors
In a press release, the brand confirmed that it was trying to embrace the spirit of the season with these new Creations. “Spring is a time for bright flavors and a little indulgence,” said the VP of marketing and digital strategy at Kahala Brands (who owns Cold Stone Creamery), Courtney Maxedon, in a statement. “These seasonal treats give our guests a delicious way to celebrate the season.” The Creations are available now and will be around until May 12, so you’ve got a good couple of months to get your fill.
Cold Stone Creamery’s new Creations follow hot on the heels of its holiday flavors, which left its stores at the start of January. These Creations also featured a S’mores-focused option in the form of its S’mores Moose Tracks, Please! flavor, and a spicy, gingerbread-infused cup, appropriately named Holiday Spice and Everything Nice.
Last year’s Spring Creations were arguably even more ambitious than these, with a Jell-O Pudding-inspired flavor, a Butterfinger and peanut butter ice cream affair, and a Lucky Charms ice cream topped with real Lucky Charms pieces (none of those cereal dupes here, folks) and gold glitter. By comparison, these feel positively demure and retiring. That doesn’t mean that they won’t absolutely slap, though.
