Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and that only means one thing: candy! Oh, and love (love that’s expressed through candy). No one’s more aware of the power of confectionery than Hershey’s, particularly around February 14, and it’s making sure that it’s hitting all the quadrants this year. The candy giant has developed an impressive line-up of new and returning sweet treats, and amongst our faves are mini heart-shaped chocolate bites and a brand new mixture of Jolly Rancher gummies. Which one’s gonna be your favorite this year? Here’s the full line-up for your perusal.
Mini Reese’s Hearts and Kit Kat Bears Are Just Some of the Standouts
In total, Hershey’s is dropping five new seasonal candies this Valentine’s Day, with the first being a miniature love-themed addition to its iconic Reese’s line. Reese’s Unwrapped Chocolate Peanut Butter Creme Mini Hearts, which come in resealable pouches, are little loose pieces of heart-shaped chocolate, with that iconic peanut butter creme filling inside. We particularly love that you don’t have to deal with any wrappers here: Just grab them by the fistful and go to town.
Next up is its Snack-Size Kit Kat Friendship Exchange Milk Chocolate Bears. These individually wrapped Kit Kat bear chocolates come with “to” and “from” labels on each one, so you can customize them for that special someone in your life. Who can then proceed to chomp the head off the small, ursine, wafer-filled chocolate.
New Jolly Ranchers, Twizzlers, and Reese’s & Kit Kat Shapes Round Out the Pack
For people who want something a little less chocolatey, Hershey’s is bringing its Jolly Rancher Awesome Reds Gummies Pouch to market. Featuring a host of everyone’s favorite red gummies, each pouch will have a soft assortment of watermelon, strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, and fruit punch flavors. The Snack-Size Friendship Exchange Twizzlers Twists, meanwhile, have the same “to” and “from” wrapper format as its Kit Kat Friendship Exchange Milk Chocolate Bears, but in a much chewier form.
Finally, Hershey’s is releasing its Reese’s & Kit Kat Shapes Snack Size Assortment, combining the classic Reese’s Hearts and Kit Kat Milk Chocolate Bears. Alongside all of these new candies could be an array of returning favorites, and while there’s no official line yet on exactly what’s coming back this year, you may well see Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Pink Hearts, Reese’s Red Velvet Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, and York Hearts Dark Chocolate Peppermint Patties on candy shelves nationwide. Oh, and that’s alongside its regular Hershey bars, and all of those Twizzlers products that are actually better than the real thing. Trust us, you’re gonna be spoiled for choice this year.
