‘Tis the season of Mountain Dew. As summer gradually approaches, the drinks brand is rearing its head once more – although let’s be real, it never really goes away in the first place, but there’s no denying that this time of the year is when it comes into its own. In the last few weeks, we’ve had non-stop Mtn Dew news coming out of the wires, with a new merch drop at Walmart, a new Mountain Dew variety pack featuring three favorites, and Mountain Dew Supernova now being available in Canada.

Now, we bring you news that, in a sense, combines those last two stories. Costco Canada is just about to get a brand-new variety pack featuring three fan-favorite flavors, which marks the return of the drink in canned/variety form for the first time in years. Here’s the lowdown.
Costco Canada Mountain Dew Variety Pack: We Are So Back
This new arrival at Costco has come via our anonymous source, as well as through @mountain_dewspaper on Instagram and the Mountain Dew Fan Club on Facebook – so we’re feeling pretty confident that it’s gonna happen. This new, 32-can variety pack marks the first time that Mountain Dew Canada has been produced in canned form since the COVID-19 pandemic. After what were supposedly supply chain problems, the brand switched to bottles, and it’s remained that way ever since for its new drinks. Until now.
As for what will be in this variety pack, word on the street is that Mountain Dew will include Code Red, Voltage, and Baja Blast, as well as the original Mountain Dew. So, what are we looking at, guys? Eight cans of each flavor? A higher proportion of Mtn Dew than the others? We don’t know, and we likely will not know until it arrives in stores. Mountain Dew fans in the US, though, will have to make do with the aforementioned new variety pack Stateside, as this one here seems to be a Canadian exclusive.
The People Are Ready
News of this new variety pack has been received warmly by those who sail in the Good Ship Mtn Dew. “2026 might just be the best year for DewCanada, I’m so happy it’s finally happening,” said one comment over on Facebook. Another highlighted the apparent disparity between the output that the two nations get from the brand. “Is Pepsi Canadian or something? Canada has been getting win after win after win and the US is stuck with garbage flavors or cancellations.” If anyone at PepsiCo is reading this, it might be worth taking heed of these rumblings.
As for now, we don’t know when the variety pack will arrive in Costco’s Canadian stores, but we’d imagine it won’t be too long before it drops. Until then, folks over there will just have to make do with Supernova (which we are pleased to confirm is very good).
