Monster’s New Patriotic Flavors Sport a Jacked George Washington on a Harley

The new Monster flavors are a surprisingly normal—but the packaging is anything but.

Monster Energy drinks aren’t exactly known for their subtlety graphics and packaging, which isn’t surprising for a company’s whose logo looks like a gaping wound left by the claws of a giant beast. And the two new United States of America-inspired flavors the company’s releasing for the summer are no exception, as they each feature some amazing art on the cover, including monster trucks, Lady Liberty in sunglasses, and a “a jacked George Washington cruising on a throttle-heavy hog.” It’s enough to make you want to salute your local 7-Eleven’s drinks cooler.

So, what are these patriotic new Monster flavors that are hitting stores now? They are:

Monster Juice Strawberry Lemonade

A mix of tart lemonade and sweet strawberries, this new Monster flavor is a tribute to your favorite fruit-filled summer lemonade and is “designed to fuel every backyard BBQ, beach day, and fireworks-filled night.” It’s also the one that has a jacked up George Washington on it. The can has so many over-the-top patriotic images in one place that it looks like a discount T-Shirt outlet exploded.

Monster Energy Ultra Red, White & Blue Razz

This Monster flavor is meant to remind you of a cold, classic rocket pop but it has an overarching blue raspberry flavor. (And chances are you won’t get a brain freeze from it.) Our own Griffin Parker got an early taste and gave it very high marks. Per Griffin, “This sweet, tart, popsicle-in-a-can knocks the idea out of the park.”

12-Can Ultra Liberty Variety Pack

While it’s not a new flavor, Monster is also releasing a 12-can patriotic variety pack featuring flavors that come in red, white, and blue: Zero Ultra, Punk Punch, and Blue Hawaiian.
