2 Unbelievable New Pop-Tarts Ice Cream Sandwiches Have Been Spotted at Walmart

Oh, boy. Oh, boy. We’re really, really excited about this one, folks. It seems as though it’s the season of snacks turning themselves into other snacks (for proof of this, check out Pillsbury’s new toaster strudel cookies), and Pop-Tarts are the latest to make the transformation yet again. Coming hot on the heels of the brand’s new Super Stuffed Pop-Tarts are its new Pop-Tarts Ice Cream Sandwich flavors, which frankly sound as though they’re going to completely destroy everyone’s bank balance with how much they’re gonna be buying them.

But what are they? What flavors are available? And where can, and will, they be found? We’re not about gatekeeping here. Here’s what you need to know.

Pop-Tarts Ice Cream Sandwiches

Pop-Tarts’ new ice cream sandwiches don’t just take the flavors of Pop-Tarts and put them in a boring old frozen dessert. Oh, no. They actually take two Pop-Tarts and put one on each side of a fat chunk of ice cream. Now, doesn’t that sound like heaven? 

As @markie_devo reports over on good old Insta, we’ve got two flavors currently available for our delectation, which join the brand’s former ice cream sandwich options, which came out last year:

• Frosted S’Mores: Two frosted graham toaster pastries stuffed full of marshmallow-flavored filling fit on either side of a marshmallow-flavored ice cream, complete with a chocolate fudge-flavored swirl.
• Frosted Cookies & Creme: A big ol’ brick of cookies and cream ice cream, studded with creme-filled chocolate cookie crumbs, is sandwiched between two frosted cocoa pastries with cookies & creme-flavored filling. The whole thing is finished with cocoa sprinkles.

Now, don’t both of those sound just lovely? This isn’t a healthy snack, don’t kid yourself, but if you’re looking for something very sugary to finish your meal off with, then here we are.

Where Can I Find These New Ice Cream Sandwiches?

At Walmart! We just said it. They’ve been spotted online, and while availability may vary from store to store, we’d imagine they’ll be showing up widely pretty soon. These flavors are also due to make it into other stores post-haste, so check your local freezer aisle.

And How Do We Feel About ‘Em?

Well, personally, we’re excited. And others are too. “I have drool coming out of my mouth,” said one person on Reddit, adding to the chorus of people who are very excited about these. “I’m definitely going to try them. And I would like Frosted Cinnamon roll with churro filling,” stated another, while simultaneously putting in a request for another new flavor. Are you listening, Pop-Tarts?
