New Mini Reese’s Flavor and New Hershey’s Kiss Flavor Dropping Soon

Today, we’ve got two new innovations from the almighty Hershey corporation to talk about: new Hershey’s Kisses and new Reese’s Cups! Truly, there’s something for everyone in today’s candy developments. Rumors started swirling online last month about these new flavors; we’ve kept our ear close to the ground for details, and now it’s time to lay them out for you good people.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Hershey’s Kisses

Cinnamon Toast Crunch launches hit-or-miss innovations pretty regularly, but this one puts a smile on my face. Yes, we’re getting Cinnamon Toast Crunch-flavored Hershey’s Kisses. Per the packaging, these Kisses contain “Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavored creme with graham flavored bits.” 

Hershey has a good track record with their flavored white creme innovations of late, so I’ve got confidence these will be solid. I consider myself relatively normal in my appreciation of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but I know some people who are going distinctly feral about this new release. I hope it lives up to their ravenous expectations.

Peanut Butter Pie Reese’s Cups

Oh, if you thought the wording on the Hershey’s Kisses was complicated, just wait. Reese’s Peanut Butter Pie Miniature Cups contain “peanut butter pie flavored milk chocolate” and “crunchy graham-flavored cookie pieces.” I’m glad the graham flavoring is being applied to something I comprehend (rather than “bits”), but peanut butter pie flavored chocolate?

At this time, I’ve only seen evidence of this flavor launching in the miniature size of Reese’s Cups (the best size of Reese’s Cups, accept no substitute). But most Reese’s flavor innovations have launched in two sizes recently, we could find out about another size coming down the pipeline, as well. We might get that information between now and the actual release date. Speaking of which…

When can we expect these new Reese’s and Kisses on shelves?

According to some shoppers, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Kisses are already available for purchase! They’ve been spotted at select Targets and should be making their way to stores nationwide to follow.

As for Peanut Butter Pie Reese’s Cups, no one’s reported a release date for those just yet. I hope we get them soon, if only so I can experiment with them in the kitchen. “Reese’s Peanut Butter Pie Cup Peanut Butter Pie” sounds like a delicious ouroboros.
