There are two types of people: those who love Tillamook and those who haven’t tried it yet. Seriously, the dairy brand known for its cheese makes some grade A ice cream. And we should know, we tried pretty much all the Tillamook flavors. If we had just one quibble, it would be that Tillamook’s tubs of ice cream might be just a smidge too big.
Sure, they’re great for birthday parties, but if you’re just one woman sitting on her couch trying to smother her sorrows with a frozen treat, well, a tub is just too dang big. Luckily, Tillamook has heard our pleas and is adding not one but two flavors to their small but mighty line-up of pints.
New Pint #1: Cookies & Cream
While we take umbrage with the lack of actual cookie pieces in Tillamook’s Cookies & cCeam, the actual ice cream is still an absolute pleasure. And some folks don’t want their cookies and cream ice cream to be jam-packed with cookie pieces. Here, you get French vanilla ice cream with a smattering of cookie chunks.
New Pint #2: Cookie Dough
Tillamook’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough took the number two spot in our most recent cookie dough ice cream taste test. It is so luxurious. The light, fluffy, extremely creamy base ice cream (which is actually cookie dough flavored) is great on its own. It’s only enhanced by the sizable chunks of cookie dough and chocolate chips. This is the Tillamook pint we’ll be grabbing.
What are the other Tillamook pints?
These new Tillamook pints will soon join a line-up of eight other flavors: Coffee Almon Fudge, Mudslide, Mint Chocolate Chip, Sea Salt & Honeycomb Toffee, Oregon Strawberry (one of our top strawberry ice creams), Oregon Dark Cherry, Vanilla Bean, and Chocolate Peanut Butter.
What flavors should Tillamook downsize next? Let us know in the comments and we’ll pass it along.
