“New Oreo Day” is one of my favorite days here at Sporked, and today is a doozy: These new Oreo cookies are stuffed with Reese’s peanut butter creme. Let that sink in, y’all. Yes, these two titans of treats are working together to release their stuff all mixed together. The nice people at Oreo and Reese’s sent over some early samples of their new political marriage cookies and candy. (Check out my review of the Oreo cookie-filled Reese’s Cups.) Without further ado, let’s get into these Reese’s-flavored Oreos.
New Oreo Flavor!
Oreo Reese’s Peanut Butter Creme Cookies Review
Pros: If you can believe it, putting Reese’s peanut butter-flavored creme inside an Oreo is a fantastic idea (such a good idea that they first did it back in 2014). Peanut butter and chocolate go together like…well, you know. The Reese’s peanut butter creme stands apart from previous standard peanut butter launches from Oreo; I hope the chocolate peanut butter Cakesters eventually get a Reese’s-ification update. And putting Oreo cookie crumble in the creme of an Oreo always feels like putting a hat on a hat in the best way—this is up there with the best of the best.
Cons: The Oreo-flavored Reese’s Cups launched in three sizes, so why aren’t we getting regular, Golden, and Mini Reese’s Peanut Buttery Cream Oreo? Let alone Double Stuf. This might be the perfect Oreo; I want it in every format imaginable.

How long will I be able to stock up on these new Oreo cookies?
Oreo will be selling a limited batch online starting August 18th. These Reese’s-flavored cookies will launch in retail this September while supplies last. You don’t need to worry too much about stockpiling though. Per the brand, Reese’s Peanut Butter Oreo Cookies will return to shelves in January 2026 for good. Yes, this will join the permanent Oreo pantheon of Mint, Double Chocolate, and all those goofy Thins flavors. You know what this development means? In 2026 (or sooner, hopefully), I’ll be able to get Fried Reese’s Peanut Butter Oreos. That’s something to live for, folks.
Which candy-flavored Oreo should return to shelves?
Griffin Parker is a writer, award-winning charity auctioneer, and "influencer in the beverage space" according to a few PR agencies. Please do not ask him about the cotton candy business he started right out of high school. When he's not contributing to Sporked or running the @SodaSeekers news pages, you can find Griffin espousing the virtues of Dayton-style pizza, Cincinnati-style chili, and Dolly Parton's Fabulously Fudgy Brownie Mix.
