Panda Express Just Released Its Own Adorable Blind Box

If you like to shop or are chronically online (like me), you more than likely know about the rising popularity of blind boxes. That’s why we were so excited to learn that Panda Express will be offering a limited-edition blind box starring their beloved brand character, Pei Pei.

Limited-edition Pei Pei blind boxes will be available for purchase for $15 beginning August 8th, which also happens to be the 27th annual Panda Cares Day, when the brand celebrates its community efforts to give back to different communities by way of various events and initiatives. 

“Pei Pei has long represented the warmth and comfort that are central to the Panda Express experience,” says Andrea Cherng, Chief Brand Officer. “That is why Panda Cares Day was the perfect moment to introduce this special blind box collection, which helps support Panda Cares’ mission to improve the health and education of youth in our communities. We are excited to pair this launch with a new digital series featuring Pei Pei that will bring this beloved character to life in new ways for fans of all ages.”

With the purchase of a blind box, you can expect to receive one of the three available Pei Pei Bag charms: Waving Pei Pei, Good Fortune Pei Pei, and Joyful Pei Pei. Just as each of the charm names suggests, you can look forward to Pei Pei sharing a wave, with a fortune cookie, or popping out of a red takeout pail resembling the brand’s iconic containers.
