Here’s All the Sodas PepsiCo Is Discontinuing in 2025

PepsiCo is making cuts. No, not to their staff (although, who knows), but to their soda line-up. Get ready to say goodbye to a few Pepsi, Rockstar, and Mountain Dew flavors.

Yes, after a year of exciting new drops from PepsiCo including red, white, and blue Mountain Dew and Pepsi Lime and Pepsi Peach, and news of plenty of exciting new products on the horizon, it’s time to bid some PepsiCo flavors adieu. According to our sources, here are the products Pepsi has decided to permanently discontinue.

Discontinued Pepsi Flavors

Pepsi is cutting Pepsi Mango (and Pepsi Mango Zero Sugar) as well as Pepsi Nitro (regular and vanilla) in January. It seems likely that Pepsi is taking Mango off the shelves to make way for the new Pepsi Cherries and Cream. Thanks to Supersoda Superstan Team Supernova, we now know that this new Pepsi flavor will be available in 12-packs in both full sugar and zero sugar.

Discontinued Rockstar Flavors

Most of the cuts for Pepsi-owned Rockstar Energy are flavors that are only available regionally. Three flavors of the newly released Rockstar Focus line—Honeydew Melon, Passionfruit Mango, and Watermelon Kiwi—as well as Rockstar Punched Lime Freeze are all going away in January. We don’t know if these will be replaced with new releases as of yet, but we do know that there will be a new Rockstar Boom flavor releasing in 2025: Pina Colada.

Discontinued Mountain Dew Flavors

Now for the one you’ve all been waiting for (or dreading). Mountain Dew Spark (and Mountain Dew Spark Zero Sugar), Mountain Dew Major Melon (and Mountain Dew Major Melon Zero Sugar), and Mountain Dew Frostbite are all being discontinued. Spark and Major Melon are both going “out of market” (in other words, no longer being brought into stores) in January, and Frostbite is leaving in May.

Additionally, Dollar General exclusive Mountain Dew Maui Burst will no longer be available in 6-packs, and Mountain Dew Voltage will no longer be available in fountain machines. Plus, Mountain Dew Kickstart Grape will be discontinued in January.

Unfortunately, there are no new Mountain Dew flavors set to take the spots of these dearly departed flavors—for now. But if you know PepsiCo, you know that they always have 20 surprises up their sleeve, so that could all change very soon.

It’s never a good day when a soda is discontinued because every flavor is somebody’s favorite. If any of these are yours, make sure you stock up while you have the chance!
