The combination of candy and cookies is nothing new. But just because people have been combining the two for generations, doesn’t mean we’re not gonna get excited when a new product appears that makes it way easier. We love candy, and we love cookies. We love them together. And we love it when companies cut out the hard work.

This year, Pillsbury has blessed us with such a product. The baking supremo has just quietly released a Pillsbury Snickers Cookie Dough, and word on the street is that it’s just started to appear in stores, according to Instagram snack account @candyhunting. Here’s what we know so far.

Why Choose Between Snickers and Cookies When You Can Have Both?

Pillsbury Snickers Cookie Dough has been spotted (and purchased) by a few eagle-eyed customers so far, with some folks reporting that it’s now in stock at Food Depot, although we’re sure that other stores have also got it on sale by this point. The product is the latest addition to Pillsbury’s ready-to-bake cookies line, where it’s no stranger to mixing candy with its iconic dough: Its Reese’s Pieces cookies scored a whopping 10/10 in our taste-test, so we’re obviously gonna be a little bit excited about this one.

Each pack of Pillsbury Snickers Cookie Dough makes 12 cookies, and it’s currently retailing at a couple of bucks a pop. Maybe Pillsbury knew it had been onto a winner for a while here: It’s got a very highly-rated Snickers Cookie Bar recipe on its website, which we can’t help but feel like was some very clever market research for this new item. Well, to all the people who’ve done the hard yards of making that snack from scratch, your days of toil are over. Now you can just portion this one up, sit back, and let it bake.

It turns out that Pillsbury Snickers Cookie Dough was just the kind of product we needed to put a smile on everyone’s faces, on what has already been a pretty tough year. Customers are very excited about the prospect of this product. “These things will not make it out of the parking lot,” said one person on @candyhunting’s post about the new dough. Multiple other people chimed in discussing their excitement for eating this dough raw (we promise you, guys, it’ll be just as good when it’s cooked — and there are some other great edible cookie doughs out there!), while others still put in their requests for other candy-cookie combos, like Twix cookie dough. We do have to admit, we’d love that.
