Whether or not you care about soccer, the World Cup is a time to celebrate—because it means new and returning snacks are hitting shelves. We’re talking 40 new Lay’s chips flavors, Chili Cheese Dog Cheeze-Its, and there’s even rumors about a World Cup Celsius drink. But we’re here to talk about Pringles. Because, in celebration of the World Cup, Kellanova is bringing back a fan-favorite Pringles flavor for a limited time.

What Pringles flavor is coming back?

Pringles Spicy Loaded Nachos are heading back to shelves! Described by Kellanova as a “dynamic blend of zesty jalapeño, rich cheddar cheese, and a kick of savory spices,” the chips are meant to taste like a platter of spicy, cheesy nachos. They originally debuted in 2024 for a limited time and returned briefly in 2025 as a Kroger exclusive.

What’s different about it this time?

Well, first of all, this new 2026 release of Pringles Spicy Loaded Nachos will not be limited to Kroger-owned stores. You can expect to find these babies wherever Pringles are sold. Secondly, the can is now stamped with: “Official Snack of U.S. Soccer.” And there’s an American flag motif waving behind Julius Pringles’ visage.

Is this returning Pringles flavor any good?

Reviews are mixed. Some folks really love the surprisingly heavy spice and commend the layered flavors of sour cream and cheese. Our very own Tyler Bowers reviewed the chips on his Facebook page back in 2025 and wrote that they were “seasoned immaculately.” Personally, I was less than thrilled by them. While I, too, noted in the official Sporked review that the chips are truly spicy and admitted that I would have no problem sucking down an entire canister, I had a bone to pick with how salty they were. I also was hoping for more of a full nacho experience, rather than just a spicy cheese flavor. Brands have been known to switch up recipes, so Pringles could have taken my notes to heart with this rerelease. Only time and my tongue will tell!

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
