Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups have gone where no Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup has gone before. For the first time, Shake Shack has teamed up with Reese’s to turn its classic chocolate-and-peanut-butter treat into a seriously loaded frozen custard shake.

The new Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shake is packed with Reese’s Creamy Peanut Butter and fudge sauce, then tucked under a crackable dark chocolate shell that has to be smashed open before the good stuff can begin.

You Have To Do Some Cracking

Shake Shack did not simply toss Reese’s into a blender and call it a day. The new shake comes covered in a hard dark chocolate shell so it has to be cracked open with a spoon to reach the frozen custard underneath.

Once the shell is broken, there is a vanilla frozen custard shake waiting underneath. It’s hand-spun with Reese’s Creamy Peanut Butter and fudge sauce, creating the classic chocolate-and-peanut-butter combination that makes Reese’s so dangerously easy to keep eating.

The shake is topped with whipped cream, Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Cups and chopped Reese’s Pieces. So, yes, there are Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups inside a Reese’s shake, with even more Reese’s candy sitting on top.

It’s A Big Year For Shake Shack’s Halloween Menu

Shake Shack has used its chocolate-shell format for specialty frozen treats before, as we saw in the viral Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake, which first came out in June 2025 and returned in June 2026.

The True Love Shake, which came out in January 2026, was also coated in a crackable dark chocolate shell. And the same goes for the Peppermint Bark Chocolate Shake, which was actually the chain’s second-ever crackable shake.

But pairing a Shake Shack with Reese’s for Halloween is the first of its kind―and as you know, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup is already good. But Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup that has been turned into a Shake Shack shake and locked inside a chocolate shell might even be way better.

The Reese’s Shake Won’t Stick Around Forever

Now there is a new way to enjoy the candy that involves frozen custard, fudge, peanut butter, whipped cream, Reese’s Pieces and a chocolate shell that practically begs to be smashed.

The Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shake is available at participating Shake Shack locations nationwide starting September 1st, 2026, for a limited time. It can also be ordered through the Shake Shack app at participating locations.
