Something just feels right about Goldfish and Snoopy coming together to make a new graham cracker snack for the holidays. Two nostalgic, cozy, beloved classics teaming up? It’s almost like we aren’t on the bad timeline after all. This new Goldfish flavor is “Peppermint Cocoa,” and it features Snoopy in a giant red puffer jacket on the bag, which is my whole mood for November.
By the way, when it comes to new Goldfish flavors, we’re usually pretty pleased with what they put out. That includes the last sweet graham flavor we tried from them over the summer, Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Goldfish Grahams. I’m hoping these taste the way winter break used to feel when I was young and spry and hopeful for the future… sigh.

Pros: These are teddy graham-esque, which is the highest praise I could probably give them. I expected them to be little cookies, but they’re still somewhere in the munchable baked snacks realm. Not super sweet at all. The mix of Snoopy and Goldfish shapes are cute and cozy.
Cons: The peppermint is giving toothpaste to me, personally. The rest of the team didn’t have that problem, though, so I’m going to look past it. But if you’re sensitive to that—or typically don’t enjoy minty snacks in general—skip ‘em. Also, while I don’t have too many complaints, I’ll say they aren’t the most exciting new Goldfish flavor we’ve ever had.
Verdict: These are kind of like a mug of peppermint hot cocoa in cracker form. If that sounds good to you, give ‘em a try.
