Sporked-Approved Amazon Prime Day Deals

Ah, Prime Day. The (for some reason) two-day span when we are all forced to question whether we’re supporting Big Capitalism by pumping the economy full of our hard-earned cash or railing against it by only pumping the economy full of our cash when everything is at a significant discount. Either way, I’m a fan of a sale, so here is a list of items from Sporked’s rankings that happen to be on sale this Prime Day, as well as a few kitchen gadgets that look pretty nice. There are sales on everything from blenders to air fryers, and food to good ol’ microwaves, so if you have been waiting to order one of these things on Amazon anyway, Just know that Prime Day is Tuesday and Wednesday (July 11 and 12), so get out there and stock up!

Instant Brand Air Fryers

Air fryers are game changers. You can crisp up leftovers, you can heat up frozen preprepared foods that would ordinarily go in the oven for tens of minutes (a hassle to be sure), plus you can make a bunch of delicious, air fryer-specific recipes that rarely take more than six to eight minutes to cook.

Many Different Microwaves

You are a person. And as a person you require many foods. And many foods require a microwave. See where I’m going with this? If you don’t already have a microwave, check out this list of Prime Day sales on all kinds of different microwaves. They have cheaper ones and more expensive ones, but they are all up to 22% less expensive than they usually are, and that is something to appreciate. A lot of foods are better in the microwave than on the stovetop (like cauliflower rice).

Guayaki Yerba Mate

If you are yerba mate curious—or you’re already a fan and want to buy the best—hit up this sale on our favorite yerba mate, Guayaki. The South American tea-like steeped bev is refreshing and has some caffeine (about as much as a cup of coffee) to give you a boost. Twelve-packs of Guayaki’s Enlighten Mint flavor are 30% off, and that should make you at least 30% more interested in trying it.

Yellowbird Classic Hot Sauce Set

Yellowbird makes good hot sauce. Their sriracha is one of our favorites—in fact, Sporked senior writer Jordan Myrick called it “the perfect combination of sweet, acidic, and spicy”—and their habanero condiment made our list of the best hot sauces by virtue of its “fresh pepper flavor and citrusy zing.” This sauce is a Texas original, but you don’t have to go to HEB to stock up. A gift set with five different flavors of Yellowbird sauce (including our faves) is 20% off for Prime Day. And if you ask us, you can never have too much hot sauce in the ol’ fridge.

Truff Mayo & Spicy Mayo

We’re real Truff heads here at Sporked. Some truffle-flavored products can taste weird and chemically, but Truff always nails it. Their black truffle infused mayonnaise is a must-have condiment and it’s currently 20% off as part of a two-pack bundle with the brand’s spicy mayo. Need convincing? Jordan called Truff Mayonnaise “subtle enough to warrant using it for just about anything: potato or chicken salad, slather it on a sandwich, or, hell, use it as a dip for chips.”

Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce Variety Pack

If you’ve never tried Bachan’s BBQ sauce, you’re really missing out. Their yuzu sauce is a condiment shelf powerhouse and a staple in Sporked editor-in-chief Justine Sterling‘s household because it’s “so flavorful and multipurpose.” Forget the thick, gloppy BBQ sauce you’re used to—this stuff is light and liquidy, which makes it perfect for using as a marinated, too. On Prime Day, you can get a three-pack of flavors—Original, Yuzu, and Hot & Spicy—for 20% off. You will want to get lost in this sauce, trust us.

Chobani Oat Milk

This was hands down our favorite oat milk we tried at Sporked (it is just so creamy!), and now you can try it out at a steep discount this Prime Day. This is a great time to try something new (for instance if you have never had oat milk but have been meaning to try it) because if you try it and aren’t a fan, at least you spent a bunch less on it. That being said, you WILL be a fan of this, trust us. On Amazon Fresh, it’s currently 80% off!
