There’s nothing more refreshing than a salad in the summer. Don’t get me wrong, I love having a wrap, a hotdog. and a hamburger during the summer months. But I always feel better after eating a salad, especially if there’s some citrus and cheese in it. Luckily, Sweetgreen has come to the rescue to satisfy my summer cravings with their newest salad. Enter: the peach & goat cheese salad. (It’s the kind of meal that somehow makes you feel like you’ve got your life together, even if you’re eating it in sweatpants with the A/C on full blast.)

The New (Seasonal) Peach & Goat Cheese Salad

The peach & goat cheese salad features sun-ripened peaches, creamy goat cheese, fresh herbs, crisp greens, and a lemon tarragon vinaigrette. As a goat cheese girlie, this salad is what dreams are made of (seriously). It was also co-created alongside chef Alice Waters, so there was a professional chef behind the scenes for this one―meaning it’s destined to be delicious.

This comes as a welcome addition to Sweetgreen’s two initial summer menu offerings including the Picnic Bowl & Summer Market Bowl. If you’re unfamiliar with these two offerings, here’s a quick breakdown.

The Summer Market Bowl: Baby spinach, warm wild rice, roasted chicken, pickled onions, summer vegetable medley, maple toasted sunflower seeds, feta, and pesto vinaigrette. Have a hankering for a hearty and savory dish? This is it. It’s the bowl you order when you want something that actually fills you up instead of leaving you rummaging through your pantry an hour later.

Backyard Bowl: A salad with antibiotic-free blackened chicken, summer vegetable medley, corn salsa, crispy onions, chopped romaine, golden quinoa, and charred jalapeño ranch. If you like a bit of spice, then you’ll love this salad.

Where to Get The New Salad

The peach & goat cheese salad will be available at Sweetgreen locations nationwide. You can order it in-store or opt for pick-up or delivery. Personally, I’m a pick-up type of girl so I can head back to my apartment and eat it on my couch. Because as great as eating outside sounds in theory, my own couch wins almost every time.
