Taco Bell's Just Dropped New Strawberry Cinnabon Delights

If you’ve taken even a passing glance at Sporked over the last six months, you’ll know we’ve been talking about Taco Bell a lot. Hey, the restaurant has been busy, people! And we’ve been there every step of the way to report on its new menu items duly. A lot of those menu items, though, have been savory – and while Taco Bell has been talking up its dessert options here and there, releasing a new Baja Blast Pie at the end of last year and teasing a Crème Brulee Crunchwrap Slider, it’s kept things largely focused on the main event.

Now, though, we’re getting a new dessert choice, just in time for summer. Taco Bell has a new Cinnabon Delights flavor, and we’re ready. Here’s the deal.

Taco Bell Strawberry Cinnabon Delights

In a statement shared with Parade, Taco Bell confirmed its new Strawberry Cinnabon Delights, which it says puts a “fruity spin” on the dessert. Each bite is filled with a Cinnabon cream cheese frosting and dusted on the outside with a strawberry-flavored sugar. They’re sweet, smooth, doughy, and if you ask us, a very pleasant way to wrap up your meal.

You don’t need to trust us on that one, though, because reviews have already started rolling out for the new Strawberry Cinnabon Delights, and it looks as though Taco Bell has nailed it here. One taste test at The Takeout called the bites “perfection, in a little fried sphere” and said they had an uncanny ability to feel both fresh and nostalgic. Crucially, they’re not overly sweet, which can be a huge risk with strawberry-flavored dessert items. Taco Bell? We’re handing it to you on this one.

When Can I Get Them?

Right now, people, right now! Taco Bell’s new Strawberry Cinnabon Delights landed in its stores on May 21, and they’ll be available nationwide. Just bear in mind that they’re a limited-time item, and they probably won’t be around for long past the peak summer months.

Taco Bell’s new dessert release is just the latest in a flurry of summer activity, after a month or two of being relatively quiet (and we say relatively because this restaurant chain’s never really that quiet). Just a few days ago, it brought back its Shredded Beef Dipping Taco and released its new Shredded Beef Nacho Fries. You thought it was done for the year? Oh, no, it’s just getting started. We knew you wouldn’t let us down with those summer releases, guys.
