The Krispy Kreme Labor Day Deal You Won’t Want To Miss

Labor Day weekend is about to get a whole lot sweeter. Krispy Kreme is giving doughnut fans a very good reason to make one last summer run to the shop. You get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just $2.

The deal runs from Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7th, so there is a whole long weekend to grab it. There is one little catch, though. 

Getting The $2 Dozen

Jumping on this deal is pretty easy. You just need to buy a dozen doughnuts or a 16-count box of Minis at participating Krispy Kreme shops. That gets you a second dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts for $2.

There are a few limits to keep in mind. Customers shopping in a Krispy Kreme store or using the drive-thru can get up to two $2 dozens per guest. Online orders for pickup or delivery are limited to one $2 dozen per guest.

Online shoppers will also need to enter the promo code BOGO2 at checkout.

The Pokémon Doughnuts Are Still Here

Pokémon fans have another reason to stop by Krispy Kreme this weekend. The Pokémon Doughnut Collection is still available at participating shops, and it can be used as the qualifying dozen for the Labor Day deal. So, a customer could grab a box of Pokémon doughnuts and add the $2 Original Glazed dozen to the order.

The collection includes doughnuts inspired by Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and the Poké Ball. Each one has its own flavor and design, so there is more going on than simply putting Pokémon decorations on an Original Glazed.

Krispy Kreme launched the collection as part of its Pokémon collaboration celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The doughnuts are expected to stick around through September 13th, but supplies can run out before then.

Krispy Kreme is also selling special-edition Pokémon cups filled with 10 Original Glazed Gold Doughnut Dots. There are five designs featuring Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff.

The Gold Doughnut Dots are bite-sized versions of Krispy Kreme’s famous Original Glazed doughnuts, making them easy to snack on without committing to an entire doughnut.

The Deal Ends After Labor Day

There are actually two reasons to make a Krispy Kreme run this Labor Day weekend. There is a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2 and there are still Pokémon goodies around for anyone hoping to catch ’em all.

But the clock is ticking on the Labor Day offer. The promotion ends Monday, so September 7th is the final day to grab the $2 Original Glazed dozen.

For online orders, the BOGO2 code needs to be entered to get the promotional price. Customers visiting a shop or using the drive-thru can take advantage of the offer there, too, within the purchase limits.
