This 2026 Trend Just Hit Kroger For July 4th

Tired of the Fourth releases? We’re certainly not! These deals and new releases seem like great additions across the board. We can’t wait to see what else brands come up with. And good thing because Kroger’s got a good one for us!

Kroger wasn’t content to just release some real good deals to help you prepare for the cookout (though they did do that too). But Kroger has taken some of the planning out of food choices by jumping on the flight trend. That’s right, for this Fourth of July you can have your very own customizable flights to share with guests and have a fun taste test of your own.

Hot Dogs

Kroger wasn’t content to just give you ordinary food flights, they’ve delivered a variety that will make your BBQ stand out. First up we have your classic Fourth of July staple with some twists: the hot dog. 

• All-American Classic Flight ― Ball Park® hot dogs, Kroger® buns, Heinz ketchup, mustard, relish and diced onions
• BBQ Backyard Flight ― Nathan’s Famous Beef Franks topped with Private Selection® BBQ sauce, coleslaw and crispy onions
• Chili Cheese Flight ― Hot dogs layered with Kroger chili, shredded cheddar and jalapeños
• Gourmet Street Dog Flight ― Topped with avocado, pico de gallo, crema and fresh cilantro for a bold twist

What’s a good BBQ without a good dog, right? We think that BBQ and Gourmet Street Dog sound really interesting. But don’t like any of those? Take this opportunity to get creative and come up with your own unique offerings! 

S’mores

Next up, Kroger went a little sweet with some twists on your classic s’more.

• Classic Campfire Flight ― Hershey’s® chocolate, Jet-Puffed marshmallows, and Honey
  Maid graham crackers
• Chocolate Lover’s Flight ― Assorted chocolate bars such as milk, dark, or caramel-filled with marshmallows and Bakery Fresh chocolate chip cookies for $3 a dozen
• Sweet & Salty Flight ― Pretzels, peanut butter cups, marshmallows, and chocolate squares
• Berry Bliss Flight ― Fresh strawberries, raspberries, chocolate, and marshmallows for a summer twist

We never thought to put berries on a s’more, but how refreshing does that sound? Feel like s’mores are a little messy? But want to try the flavors? Try a s’mores pocket! Make a little foil boat, load up your toppings, warm in the fire, and enjoy! The boats make for great little BYO bars if you have a lot of guests and don’t want to restrict on flavors or tastes. 

Salad Add-Ons

Last for the food flights are fun and refreshing tomato takes.

• Garden Fresh Flight ― Sliced heirloom, Roma, and cherry tomatoes with sea salt, olive oil, and fresh basil
• Caprese Flight ― Tomatoes paired with fresh mozzarella, Simple Truth Organic basil, and Private Selection balsamic glaze

• Stars and Stripes Spritzer ― This layered refreshment blends Kroger Blue Raspberry Pop Sparkling Water with a splash of lemonade and a patriotic Red, White & Blue Ice Pop that slowly melts into sweet, fruity flavor. Top it off with juicy blueberries, bright raspberries, and a sprig of mint for a refreshing finish.
• Firecracker Dirty Soda ― Grab your favorite flavor of soda, splash in coffee creamer or fruit juice, one pump of Private Selection flavored syrup, and finish with a fruity garnish of citrus, maraschino cherries or fresh herbs like mint. Try flavor combos like orange vanilla, peach mango, or blue raspberry coconut.
