You know what we’re absolutely not immune to? Cute stuff. Yeah, we bring you the latest food news, but sometimes, that can also include items made by food businesses or retailers that just make us smile. See the Trader Joe’s mini totes for proof of this. Oh, and Tillamook’s cheese plushies.

Wait, what? Yep. Cheese plushies. The dairy company has just announced that it’s restocked its Cheese Loafies, and we’re already thinking about how we can justify buying all of them.
So…What Is a Cheese Loafie, Exactly?
Tillamook’s Cheese Loafies are essentially cuddly toys shaped like blocks of cheese. Cheese teddy bears, if you will. These plushies come in five different varieties, each of them with the appearance of one of Tillamook’s cheese products. You’ve got Pepper Jack, Colby Jack, Medium Cheddar, Smoked Medium Cheddar, and Extra Sharp White Cheddar.
They also all have little faces. The Pepper Jack one, for example, has a shocked expression, as though it can’t believe how spicy it is, while the Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese Loafie has a winky face, like it’s letting you in on how intense its flavor really is. Honestly? We love them. The full range is available on the Tillamook website, and each Loafie costs $23.00.
And We’re Not the Only Ones Who Love Them…
You’re damn right we’re not. In Tillamook’s Instagram post announcing the return of the plushies, people were up in arms about how cute they are, and how much they want to get them. “These are hilarious,” said one comment. “The amount of large cheese loaves we go through over here (because I have grate & cook from scratch) we need these sitting in the kitchen.” Hey, it’s one way to distract your kids/partner while they’re trying to sneak pieces of cheese while you’re cooking.
This isn’t the only cheese-related merch that Tillamook sells, either. It’s also got Mini Cheese Loafie Ornaments, complete with a little loop that you can use to tie them to things (your bag, for example – think of it as a dairy-themed labubu). Tillamook also has a host of items that we never knew we needed, including but not limited to a Glass Butter Ornament, a “Butter Hugger” (which you can use to protect your sticks of butter while they’re in the fridge), little cow plushies, and an Ice Cream Rattle for your baby. Oh, and while you’re getting all of these, you can pick up its new Caramel Swirl Ice Cream and its ice cream bars. It’s a one-stop shop, people!
