Trader Joe’s loves to churn out new sauces and condiments. This summer, you’ll find their new Trader Joe’s Chunky Garlic & Jalapeño Hot Sauce on shelves. This thick and chunky red hot sauce recently hit shelves so we tried it to see if it should stick around forever or if it’s just one of the Trader Joe’s new products that will come and go like so many have before.

Trader Joe’s Chunky Garlic & Jalapeño Hot Sauce
Trader Joe’s Chunky Garlic & Jalapeño Hot Sauce is good. It has a really nice spice level and it is chunky. While I’m not sure it’s giving actual jalapeño flavor, it is definitely garlicky. Like I said, it tastes good. Good. Not great. I wouldn’t rush out to buy it or remember to recommend it to a friend. There are definitely better hot sauces you can buy, even at Trader Joe’s. But, on the other hand, there have definitely been worse Trader Joe’s new products (looking at you, seasoned corn ribs).
All in all, this stuff isn’t bad. If you’re in a pinch and find yourself at Trader Joe’s with just a couple of bucks and the need for a bottle of hot sauce that actually has kick to it, grab a bottle of this stuff.
