I’m not sure what you talk about with your coworkers; most of my yapping boils down to “I found this at the store, should I review it?” Case in point, I sent a picture of TruMoo’s new Cookies & Cream Milk, which I didn’t even know existed until I found it right next to the normal milk. A mighty thumbs up came down from on high, so I’m here to scientifically and thoughtfully review the first milk ouroboros of my career.

This Cookies & Cream Milk is based on cookies and cream ice cream, which is made with milk and sandwich cookies that also contain milk. I’d much rather explain the chicken and the egg to a caveman than how this milk came to be.
Do we need flavored milk from TruMoo?
Whether we need it or not, TruMoo has been releasing flavored milk for a while now–almost exclusively in collaboration with Disney films. Last year alone, TruMoo released Fantastic Berry Milk to promote Fantastic Four: First Steps, Orange Cream Milk to promote (reruns of) Hocus Pocus, and Strawberry Banana Milk to promote Moana 2. And all the way back in the spring of 2024, TruMoo released a vanilla-flavored “blue milk” for Star Wars’ May the Fourth promotions.
TruMoo’s pattern of releasing flavored milks in collaboration with Disney makes this unbranded Cookies & Cream release a true anomaly. There’s a chance this milk was planned out months ago with the expectation it’d feature a Disney film on the label; as we learned with the infamous canceled “Mountain Dew Riddler’s Brew,” promotional stunts change all the time. That said, it’s not like there’s a huge Disney animated film hitting theaters anytime soon…
