Let me be honest with you for a second. Yes, I am from Los Angeles. Yes, everybody is TV fit for no reason. Yes, that whole health nut and wellness bull crap is real. Yes, it’s trendy. And even though I hate to admit, yes, it’s FREAKIN’ WORTH IT. In the past year, I did what a lot of stupid, semi-famous influencers do and started my “health journey.” I don’t know, getting closer to 30 just makes you feel all kinds of weird. I started with my eating habits—namely, my greens intake. Any kind of greens: spinach, kale, all that grass stuff. I had the hardest time including it in the morning. Then I came across Pressed Juicery’s cold pressed juices. I tried a couple flavors, but the green one stood out the most. It’s a smooth, non-pulpy beverage made of kale, green apple, ginger, celery, and cucumbers. I could chug about four bottles a day. It makes me feel empowered and feeling like an empowered woman is important. Although it requires me to use the bathroom more than usual, it’s worth every ounce of bubble guts that comes with it. Drink your veggies, people, especially if you don’t like them whole. It’ll make you gassy but that means it’s working.
