From gas to groceries, it seems like everything is more expensive these days. Shopping at a budget grocery store like Aldi won’t automatically make you immune to rising costs, but it helps—especially if you’re hip to the deals. Grab a quarter. Get your cart. Here are five picks for under $5 at Aldi this week.

Season’s Choice Hash Brown Patties ($4.99)
Aldi’s running a sale on their Season’s Choice hash brown patties this week. While it’s not a huge sale (50 cents off) it gets them down just under our $5 price point. That’s divine intervention if I’ve ever seen it. You’ll get 20 of these stunners so you can level up breakfasts for the near future.
Brekki Vanilla Cinnamon Overnight Oats ($2.15)
Let’s keep the breakfast train a rollin’! Load your fridge up with Brekki’s Vanilla Cinnamon overnight oats to make your mornings hassle free. Worse comes to worst you can scarf this down in the car on the way to work and you look like way less of a weirdo than if you brought your bowl of microwaved oatmeal along for the ride.
Bake Shop Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies ($4.75)
Sporked’s favorite cookies at Aldi for under $5! We loved these for their nutty oat flavor, delicious dried cranberries, and soft, moist cookie body. Shopping on a budget doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself so get these and go to freaking town, baby! Not freaky town, that’s in a different county.
Specially Selected Premium Marinara Sauce ($4.39)
The only way you’re getting the taste of Rao’s for under $5 is dupe form. Luckily, Aldi has that exact product! What are the chances? This Aldi marinara sauce is rich, oily, and bursting with umami at half the price of the real stuff. What a steal!
Sour Cream & Onion Flavored Clancy’s Potato Chips ($1.99)
Chips at Aldi are so shockingly cheap that I could have blindly picked any bag off the shelf and counted it for this haul. Why wouldn’t I make my job easier by just picking Sporked’s favorite chips from Aldi, though? They’re crunchy, salty, and have a distinct creaminess to them. They’re onion-y without tasting exclusively like onion powder. And they’re only $1.99!
