To be honest, this is the only kettle-style potato chip I’d buy from Aldi. I found the regular Aldi brand potato chips to be much better in terms of flavor than their kettle chips, in general. These sea salt and vinegar Clancy’s potato chips are great, though! They’re super salty and plenty vinegary (aka the perfect salt and vinegar potato chips). The chip, itself, has the perfect crunch. My mouth is actually salivating just thinking about them.

I am in shock and awe of these barbecue Aldi brand potato chips. It’s the only time in my entire life when I preferred a regular barbecue potato chip to a kettle cooked barbecue potato chip. Kettle cooked barbecue potato chips are my favorite type of chip! These are much more smoky, sweet, and salty than Aldi’s kettle cooked barbecue potato chips. Plus, these are plenty crispy! You really don’t miss the kettle-cooking.

I don’t just mean best plain potato chips at Aldi —these are some of the best plain potato chips I’ve ever had. I’m not typically a plain potato chip consumer because I think they’re boring. These plain Aldi potato chips aren’t boring in any way. They have a wonderful greasy, salty, potato-y flavor. They’re also sturdy! These would be great with a dip or delicious enjoyed on their own. I really can’t say enough good things about these Aldi potato chips.
