Reeeeeeal funny having the incredibly single guy with a Costco membership write about what to buy at Costco if you’re single. You’re all lucky that I love Costco so much and go way too often—any excuse to get a $1.50 hot dog and soda combo.

As a frequent Costco shopper, I am very aware that the store can be minefield, especially if you’re shopping for one. One hot tip? Go for the variety packs to avoid culinary tedium—seriously, no one person wants to get stuck eating 45 single serving bags of cheddar Goldfish on their own. If you go in that direction, some good options include the Kirkland Signature Variety Snack Box. But today I’m focusing on those individually portioned items you’ll find hiding in the sea of bulk purchases. It can be intimidating, but once you really start looking in the aisles, you’ll find a bunch of things that work for people who live alone. Here’s a Costco haul for folks who are as single as a Pringle and looking to mingle in the aisles of Costco.

Hiyo Organic Social Tonic Variety Pack

Though I’m a little dubious about the powers of a “social tonic,” I’ll go along with the marketing on this one. Living life on your own requires you to work a little extra to get out and socialize. Whether you’re just looking to make new friends or get out there to meet the love of your life, having a cutesy little can of Hiyo organic social tonic in your hand while you do it can be a nice boost.

Kirkland Signature Organic Peanut Butter

Although this two-pack of Kirkland Signature peanut butter might be a little daunting, it is manageable I promise. Peanut butter can last quite some time in the fridge so as long as you’re using it where you can, you’ll get through it before it goes to waste. Plus, it comes Billie Eilish approved, so that’s gotta count for something, too.

Milton’s Roasted Vegetable Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Having a few frozen pizzas on hand as someone living alone makes for an easy dinner (and lunch/dinner the next day with the leftovers). Milton’s Roasted Veggie Cauliflower Crust pizzas from Costco come in a digestible two-pack. Enough to keep on hand, but not so many that you’ll get sick of them by the end of the box!

Del Real Foods Carnitas

A creative way to get some protein in from Costco is the deli section. That’s where you’ll find products in sizes that are more acommodating for the single person. The one downside is this tray of premade carnitas is still a smidge too big to get through in one or two meals, so you have to commit to eating the same thing for a few meals over the course of the week. But that’s why we’re grabbing carnitas—they taste great and you can do a bunch of different things with the tasty shredded pork so you don’t get bored.

Island Way Sorbet Assortment

We love a creative dessert in a variety pack—and the Sporked team absolutely loves this sorbet. This variety pack comes with coconut, red berry & ruby grapefruit, mango, and pomegranate sorbets that all come in half-shells of the actual matching fruits.

La Colombe Draft Latte Cold Brew Coffee Variety Pack

Living alone means no one’s there to brew you a cup of coffee and bring it to you in bed. Sure, that’s a little sad, but even though the horrors persist, so do we. Make things a little easier for yourself by getting a variety pack of La Colombe draft latte cold brew coffees to have on hand when you roll out of bed. This variety pack from Costco comes with four cans of each flavor: caramel, vanilla, and mocha.
