The warm summer months are here and I don’t know about you all, but I am in full survival mode. Don’t get me wrong, I like a walk outside in the summer sun, but it can really get to me. Costco must have the same problem because they’re filling the shelves with some truly sensible options to help us out. This week alone, they’re dropping a functional bevy to keep us hydrated, a fun ice cream option to cool things down, and a summer snack that’s downright craveable. Let’s cover all the new options that head to Costco this week.

Smash Bites SunButter Blueberry & Strawberry Snack Bites Variety Pack
A summer drop from Costco that’s right for the whole family! Smash Bites are protein bites that are made with sunflower butter, sweetened with dates, and powered by chia. Costco’s variety pack comes with two flavors for the jam in the middle: blueberry and strawberry. Each set of five bites serves up 10 grams of protein, so you can count up your daily macros bite by bite. These would be ideal to throw in a lunch box to send off with your kid going to a day camp or keep you fueled up while you maximize shareholder value.
Coco5 18-Count Multipack
Summer means I’m in an endless battle to stay hydrated. If you’re like me, we can be thankful that Costco has us covered on multiple fronts. The drink aisle at Costco is freaking massive. The latest addition to the space is a Coco5 coconut water 18-pack. Inside you’ll get six bottles of three flavors: pineapple, coconut, and grape. Keep your electrolytes up with this sensible choice from Costco.
Frosty Peach and Mango Fruit Shaped Ice Cream
You’re not imagining things. This is a Costco haul that has gorgeous fruit shaped ice cream featured in it! We’re not at Erewhon, H Mart, or the fancy pastry shop in your city. This is the very sensible Costco joining in the fun. Each box comes with six peach and mango-shaped desserts that are filled with ice cream and taste like their respective fruits. Plus, you’re getting these at Costco prices―so you’re saving a ton compared to what you’d pay at a luxury grocery store.
Grace Gourmet Chicken Poblano Wrap
In the frozen aisle at Costco you’ll find Grace Gourmet’s Chicken Poblano Wrap in a six-pack. This frozen hand-held meal features seasoned chicken and roasted poblano peppers wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. There’s a mild, smoky heat that the poblano pepper filling brings to the savory chicken dish. Heat these up so they can heat up your insides with that smokalicious heat.
Carbone Spicy Vodka Sauce
I made the mistake of fighting with the Sporked crew the last time I saw a new Carbone sauce hit the shelves. I’ve learned my lesson this time by finding their third favorite Carbone sauce at my local Costco. This placed towards the top in our taste test for its flavor and heat, though it didn’t land the top spot because of a bit of wonky texture brought in by the Calabrian pepper skins that are floating around. Texture-focused eaters beware!
Three Bridges Uncured Bacon & Cheese Potato Bakes
I saved the breakfast for last! That’s how the saying goes, right? It does in my book (the secret is that every chapter is actually breakfast). While I may love breakfast with my whole heart, I certainly don’t love cooking it every day. That’s why we’re grabbing these bacon and cheese potato bakes from Costco for a quick fix when your eyelids are just too damn heavy.
