If you’re lucky enough to live in a city or state where In-N-Out operates, you know how hard it is to resist the onion-laced scent of its delicious burgers wafting around its restaurants. But unfortunately, if you’re not in the move to drive yourself over to an In-N-Out and wait in its notoriously long lines, you don’t exactly have another option.

That’s because In-N-Out, unlike other fast food chains, has never been available for delivery. But desperate burger fans are turning to alternative methods to get their Animal-Style Fries and Double-Doubles delivered, including something of a black market. It (mostly) works, but it comes with a price.

“Burger Brokers” on Facebook Will Delivery In-N-Out for a Price

The trick to getting In-N-Out delivered? It’s Facebook.

In-N-Out fans are turning to Facebook Marketplace, according to a recent report by L.A. Material, where they can connect with individuals who are essentially “burger brokers.” These independent couriers take In-N-Out orders from interested Facebook users for a fee plus the cost of the order in question. And then, your favorite burgers, fries, and shakes are delivered right to your door.

While this might seem like a great solution to In-N-Out’s lack of delivery options, it’s not exactly a smooth one. First, you’ve got to find yourself a burger broker — and you need to be prepared to pay.

According to L.A. Material’s findings, this underground market of burger brokers can charge hefty fees. Depending on the courier you choose, their rates, and their proximity to your location (or their chosen delivery radius), you could pay anywhere from a few bucks to $50 just to get your In-N-Out cheeseburger delivered to your home or office.

In-N-Out Delivery Via Facebook Marketplace Isn’t Exactly Trustworthy

Sound a little sketchy? Well, it is. These unofficial In-N-Out burger brokers that operate on Facebook Marketplace can be trustworthy, but there are also scammers in the mix. And it’s entirely on you to find one who’ll actually deliver your food — not take your money and run.

Yep, that’s right. Some of the people who advertise their In-N-Out delivery services on Facebook Marketplace are simply there to scam you. Some people have wound up paying as much as $50 in delivery fees to get their In-N-Out favorites delivered, only to discover that their food never arrives.

And there’s no way to get a refund on your order cost or those sky-high delivery fees if you’re dealing with someone who demands payment upfront. It’s not uncommon for burger brokers to get payment and suddenly ghost their customers, leaving them high and dry with no recourse.

Remember, There’s No Legit In-N-Out Delivery Option

If you’re wary of turning to anonymous In-N-Out delivery people on Facebook, you’re not alone. But unfortunately, there’s no way to legitimately have your In-N-Out orders delivered. It’s a persistent complaint about the chain, but it’s simply the way In-N-Out operates.

The company has repeatedly stated its stance on delivery platforms like GrubHub and DoorDash, with CEO Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson stating that “the answer is no.” Representatives cite factors like customer service and food freshness as reasons the company is resisting third-party delivery programs.

So, if you’re hoping one day you’ll be able to get your go-to In-N-Our order delivered to wherever you might be, it’s unlikely to happen. Unless, that is, you’re willing to take a risk and pay a serious premium to have a stranger order for you and deliver your food.
