Here at Sporked, we’ve taste tested a lot of different things: every brand of Greek yogurt, every flavor Kool-Aid (and there are like 20), and yes, we even did a powdered milk tasting once…we must really like you guys. But sometimes we get to try fun things, and 2025 brought us not one, not two, but 8.5 Pringles flavors to try, and, for the most part, they were pretty solid. That said, if you are like the Pringles man and you ~mustache~ what we mean by the 0.5 of a Pringles flavor, then you will just have to keep reading, my friend. So whether you are a single Pringle, a Pringles Mingles, or a fan of Kris Kringle, read on to see all of the Pringles-branded snack items we tried in 2025, ranked.

Van Holten’s Pringles Sour Cream & Onion Pickle In-A-Pouch

Okay, ya got me, this is the 0.5. Why? Because it is a literal pickle, silly! After two straight years of all the snack brands giving us pickle-flavored chips one after the other, Pringles dared to be different and collaborated with Van Holten to give us chip-flavored pickles. Now, as much as we appreciate the innovation, we feel the dare didn’t really pay off, as it resulted in a pickle that tasted like Onion. Yes, capital O Onion. We detected no other flavors here. So major points to Pringles for creativity, but minus a bunch of points for the sheer onion of it all.

Pringles Ghost Pepper Ranch

These tasted like Sour Cream & Onion Pringles with a little added spice. That would ordinarily be totally fine except these are supposed to taste like ranch and have ghost pepper on them—classically, one of the more insanely spicy peppers out there. So these were not bad by any means, but they weren’t who they said they were, so we felt catfished by the ghost pepper. Which I guess is better than being ghosted by a catfish pepper, but regardless, we thought these were fairly mid.

Pringles Mingles Cinnamon & Sugar

We, the people of Sporked, are a bit lukewarm on Pringles Mingles in general, as they are fairly dense and they eat like packing peanuts…not that I’ve eaten packing peanuts (if my doctor asks, I have not eaten any packing peanuts). Textural issues aside, these taste pretty good! They just taste like cinnamon, sugar, and butter, are a bit lighter than cookies or candy if you are looking for something small to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Pringles Mingles Jalapeño & Queso

Hey, whaddaya know, it’s Mingles again! These bad boys are absolutely McFrickin COATED in jalapeño dust, to the point where they’re actually quite spicy and taste like jalapeño with a hint of generic cheese flavor. But if you are a jalapeño fiend, don’t mind it as a primary flavor, and have always sort of kind of wanted to eat packing peanuts, we say go for it! The jalapeño and queso Pringles Mingles await.

Pringles Spicy Loaded Nachos

These Pringles were an interesting addition to the lineup. They are very spicy, have a hint of jalapeño flavor, a whole lot of movie theater nacho cheese flavor, and not much else. They taste like very, very salty spicy jalapeño cheese Pringles—not really any hint of sour cream, beef, or spices. That said, they were very addicting, and we did keep eating them until they were gone, so I guess they can’t be all that bad.

Pringles Sharp White Cheddar

Okay, now we are getting into the top Pringles flavors of 2025. These white cheddar Pringles taste so much like white cheddar that Sporked taste tester Jordan Myrick was able to identify that these were white cheddar while blindfolded. They are umami, cheesy, and sharp, and have that distinct taste you get from a well-aged white cheddar. Yes, these are quite salty. But also, we finished the darn things, so as long as you have water nearby, if you are a fan of white cheddar snacks, I say give these bad boys a go.

Pringles 7-Layer Dip

Here’s the thing. This Pringles flavor—which debuted back in March—tastes nothing like 7 layer dip. It does, however, taste exactly like a really good salsa verde, complete with tangy tomatillos and cilantro, as well as a hint of sour cream. We actually really liked these and kept snacking on them throughout the day; they really only lose points for not being who they say they are. That said, if Pringles had told us these were salsa verde flavored, they might be at the top of this list.

Pringles Smoky Bacon

Here she is, the runner-up, the penultimate Pringle, the Pringles Smoky Bacon. You may have noticed a theme here, but we must say, these tasted nothing like bacon. They did taste like something in between beef bouillon, a roast beef sandwich, and an Italian beef dunked in au jus. Basically, they are delicious, beef-forward, umami bombs, and we highly recommend them. The one con here is that the package does kind of smell like Beggin’ Strips but if you can get past that, you are in for a treat. A human treat—don’t worry.

Pringles Smoky Cheddar

Lastly, the Smoky Cheddar Pringles, the lady of the hour, the reason for the season, and the love of our (2025 and Pringles specific) life. These chips have a strong cheddar flavor and lots of smokiness, too. If you are a smoked gouda fan, a Pringles fan, or just a fan of (very) salty snacks, these were, hands down, the best new Pringles of 2025, and we think you should give them a go.
